UD Las Palmas has thanked Sergi Samper “for his excellent behaviour and professionalism during the time he has defended the yellow shirt, as well as wish him luck, both personally and in sports.”

Sergi Samper made his first team debut with FC Barcelona in the 2014/15 season in a Champions League match against APOEL at Camp Nou (1-0). In total, he has played a total of 12 official matches with the first team: four in the 2014/15 season, seven in 2015/16 and one in the 2016/17 season. Last year, Samper played on loan at Granada, where he played a total of 23 matches (22 in the league and one in the Copa del Rey).
