I found the og picture on Pinterest and I had to try and paint it in procreate. Most of it was painted with a square brush from Jingsketch’s basic free set on gumroad. I chose the photo because of its shadows and dark background. I haven’t tried something like this in a long time.

I’m shocked I was able to do this but I got really in the zone last night and today. When I get really enthusiastic about something I have to see it through. I like that about myself. I am really tired today though😅.

I used a lot of new coloring brushes I downloaded and played with layering today. I want to keep learning new stuff.

I’ve been cleaning up and drawing my sketches to look nicer so I can post them.

Making this account has helped me feel better because I have never really shared my personal art anywhere or to anyone but I think it’s time for me to be more open by setting up an account for myself. I realize I never really cared about monetizing my art, it was more about simply sharing it if I felt like it. Doing this has been one positive thing I can focus on. I’m trying to get on that “do it for the plot” mentality. It sounds so simple but it is a step for me. One thing about me is I overthink everything to the point of paralysis, but I don’t want to be like that forever.
