Photo Mode Poses Directory
Maybe you need a toothy pose to show off the custom teeth you've made. Maybe you're setting up a story scene and need some parafolk looking up at the sky.
🗂️ That's where this pose/animation (I'm using the terms interchangeably) directory comes in handy. I made it for myself because I LOVE Photo Mode, but after spending way too many hours on it I figured I might as well release it into the wild.
You wouldn't guess from the names that Flattered has a great waving moment, ShareTipsAssist contains an excellent neutral "look left" pose, or that ThumbnailGeneticFace is the most neutral crossed-arms pose currently available.
🖼️ The poses are grouped not by pose name, but by visual storytelling usage (crouching, walking, looking left/right, and so on). That's why you may see the same animation name appear multiple times: they're screenshots taken from different moments within the same animation.
ℹ️ How to use this directory: find a pose you need among the images above, check the name written underneath it (I've shortened most names to just the keywords i.e. in-game they're written like HumanTrianglePlayingHighAnimation.fbx and I've left just TrianglePlayingHigh), then search for that pose name in your game while in Photo Mode. What you do with it after that is up to your creativity. This is just a reference point so you don't spend half an hour looking for a pose that makes your para turn slightly to the left or something. I skipped some mirrored, seated, and height-difference variations. A tiny handful of unique poses were left out entirely, but I'd say this database is ~99% complete.
