Flat azures survey the woman afore him, resplendent in no uniform he has ever seen before. Pink hair, near-angelic features. Human, seemingly. His lips curl in response to the unintentional slight. Her weapon seems unique as well. A member of JIDA? "Why are you trespassing?" Words spoken with apathy, he visits upon her a likewise gaze.

“Uhh, trespassing? You mean me?”

It wasn’t a very smart question. Naturally, she was the one he meant, or at the least there wasn’t anyone else around that he could be addressing so far as Serah could see. But given that she’d landed in a time and place she couldn’t recognize, without Noel to boot, she chose to err on the side of caution as a rule of thumb and not give too much away about herself. The one addressing her certainly didn’t seem too pleased to see her here; it wouldn’t do to alarm him or have him question her sanity over a story about time travel and her missing sister.

Playing dumb was safer.

“Sorry, I... didn’t mean to end up somewhere I wasn’t supposed to be. I was travelling with my friend, but we must have gotten separated.” She wasn’t sure what to do with Mog. Holding a bow must not look very friendly, but how would this person react to the sudden appearance of a moogle? “Could you... tell me where I am? I’ll try to get out of your hair as soon as I can.”
