that severe lack of empathy and almost violent visceral reaction to watching a character fall apart at the seams that then generates a reaction for stuff like 'i hope he drives off and kills himself' and 'i hope he commits for the plot' and 'he's awful and weaponising his mental health just kill yourself robby' and 'his mother abandoned him because she sensed the evil in him' is dehumanising and appalling. i've never felt more ashamed and disgusted to be associated with a part of that fandom. i'm hoping its naivety and wanting to follow the crowd to be 'woke' but all you look like to me is someone i'd actively avoid in real life because you're dangerous to the mentally ill.
