I am Groot!

The sapling perks up, excited to hear someone else who speaks Groot. He’s been warned against speaking to strangers, but if they speak Groot they’re not that strange, are they? 

“I am Groot!” he replies, nodding his little head and smiling up at the stranger.

I’ve been working on a personal project as of late, and I’ve been pouring all my creativity into that. (I’ll post more about it when the project is live!) But I am slowly trying to come back to all my blogs. Groot is still here. I still very much love this little tree and intend to come back to his blog. I’ve just been trying to get my main blogs up and running first.

“I am Groot!”

This planet is beautiful. All flowers and trees, and were Groot older he might appreciate the beauty. As it is, he just gets lost in it. A sapling does not fully appreciate the beauty of other plants the way a full-grown tree does. What Groot is looking for is insects. Things to chase and terrorize, and when he gets bored with that, to eat. He’s not finding any of those, though. The only livings seem to be back where the rest of his family is, so giving up his hunt for bugs, he turns around and makes his way back. 

Stairs can be carefully climbed, but big heavy doors are an obstacle he doesn’t have an easy way of overcoming. But it appears he’s not the only one who decided to come outside. If Peter trusts him, he can trust him as well, can’t he? So the little tree walks over and holds his arms up to be lifted.
