hi!! this is an unusual post for this blog, but i'm kind of desperate. i'm writing a master's dissertation on bilingualism and identity, and i'm short on respondents. if you are:

older than 18. obviously you will not be asked to complete any kind of age verification, but there will be a question about your age, and the options start with 18

bilingual. you CAN know more than two languages. i only care that you're regularly using two: for example, one irl, and one to talk to people online; or one with your family, another with your friends. all of that still counts!

living in your foreign/second language country most of the time. obviously, if you occasionally visit your home country, that's still fine!

it's literally written exactly how it's supposed to be, to those who thinks the writing is cringy. it is written in a very expressive, graphic novel-esque way, just like the graphic novel it was inspired by.

the visuals in the show are also consistent with the graphic novel-esque theme in the writing: hand-drawn illustrations by the Alice oseman herself always entwined with the show, paneling scenes out, and everything in the show being picture perfect, cohesive, and colorful.
