UPDATE: 8/6/20

Updated the 2 pink swatches on the alexa pencil dress so that it no longer shows the original base game texture

Fixed the black swatch on the olivia lace dress so it isnt so…..FLAT

Fixed the bump of the olivia lace dress so it no longer appears to have a belt

new spec and bumps for all the dresses so if you were ever experiencing texture crunch with these dresses (have not heard from anyone) you wont anymore

Ether Curved Seating - Four New Seating Options

I wanted to create a curved sofa as a bit of a challenge from an image I found on pinterest (like usual) and ended up with the set you see above. I get modern but a bit of a retro vibe from this design and I surprisingly love it in pink. Another great sofa collection to add to my ever expanding catalogue of living room seating. Will I stop? Probably not.

So I got a new job and have been ridiculously busy—like, working nonstop from 8 am to midnight and then just passing out. This shitty little cottage is the only thing I’ve built since April, in the lone hour I’ve been able to spend in my game.

Hopefully things ease up soon! I have SO many things I wanted to do, and now I find myself with zero time to Sim. Behold, the list:

Build something in Woeford (thanks, @simsmidgen)

Play a new challenge (I had my eyes on the Ambrosia Challenge, and was also thinking about starting a new Random Legacy. Fun fact: my ten-generation save game in Eltham’s Drift started as a Random Legacy; I just got lazy about fulfilling objectives after Generation 6 or so)

Throw out all my clothing CC and start from scratch (I already did this with hair and makeup a while back)

Build something from my list of ideas for overly elaborate builds that I will end up never using (hello, community lots)

Build an eco-friendly hippie commune in Northeney (it’s a roadless world, so I thought it would be apt)

Finish renovating and rebuilding the Victorian section in Addenbrooke (where my ten-generation game now resides)

Migrate the Fharhond Glacier game to Saaqartoq and re-create my favorite builds in that world (this is actually a huge project but one I was looking forward to)

Yeah, no time for any of that. But hopefully soon!

I decided to turn the treehouse, as in, my first build with ladder, into a tiny home. It really is tiny, but is sort of has a kitchen/bedroom/study indoors and then loads of skill items outdoors. And yeah, the bathtub is outside too, but there is an indoor toilet. It’s a bit cramped, and there is some minor clipping from the tree in the house, but that kind of fits with a treehouse. I don’t think I’d personally play in this house, but it was mostly a build exercise for me. Now I can make cool treehouses for kids to play in.

One issue I found while play testing was that laundry can’t be carried down the ladder. I get that it doesn’t work with the animation, but they could have just have a Sim put the stuff in their inventory while going down the ladder - totally immersion breaking, I know, but I prefer a slightly more functional game. So, I left that as is. You either have to drag the laundry downstairs yourself (Hand of the Watcher), or move the hamper downstairs.
