Theory:
The other two artifacts stored in the Archives (mentioned briefly in On The Shoulders of Titans) are one of Vendria’s seasonal aspects and Lydia/Edon’s ring.
Unfortunately, this hypothesis combined with what we know about the time jump between Defying Destiny and Six Sacred Swords most likely means that Lydia, and many of Taelien’s other friends, are probably dead.
Upon yet another re-read of Diamantine, it’s clear that at least Dyson is still alive, which greatly improves the chances that the others made it, too!
But also Rowe’s verb tense usage implies that Reika didn’t..... 😭😭😭
Ok, another modification after reading Torch that Ignites the Stars. The spirit copy of Dyson is alive and so is Reika (probably) but Reika and Keras are no longer on good terms and for goodness sake I just need some answers!
