Reticent

Sunshine all the time makes a desert.

I have a strong feeling that the opposite of love is not hate, it’s apathy - it’s not giving a damn.

Please forgive me if I hurt you in any way this year or in the past.

She was beautiful, in the quiet way that lonely, unnoticed people are beautiful to those who notice them.

Alhamdullilah for the flaws that keep me humble, and the sins that keep me repenting.

And so sometimes I wonder and sometimes I ponder, sometimes I just wish you’d of stayed a little longer, sometimes as a friend under cover, something like a stranger, but most of those sometimes, I wanted you as a lover, heavy and loud like thunder.

Do not awaken galaxies inside of someone if you are not even fond of stars.
