can you link me just the actual evidence against joan? your pinned post doesn't really help me since there isn't any proof in it and i don't want to search through a whole blog filled with anons

i do not hate joan. there is a large part of me that still hurts for the person i was friends with.

i do not want her to be harassed, pestered, bullied, etc. all i want is to see her stop hurting others and get help. real tangible help.

i do not want joan to starve or lose housing or be hurt for what shes done. she is still human and deserves basic needs met and kindness shown to her.

if anyone wants to share their positive interactions they are very welcome to. i simply havent received any good word about her here or i would post it. i have held back quite a few nasty messages.

ive received 3 different peoples first hand accounts who would like to stay anonymous about this specifically.

one openly talked with joan about their past friendship with the actual pancakestein and joan did nothing to correct them while playing along.

I instantly got banned “for inappropriate behavior”. Maybe because I said in a tag I hoped I could post more cool pages and get people to read it? Maybe this was considered spamming, even though I made one single post and instantly got banned?

So I’m trying to explain myself but I’m blocked, and then I find this blog. I feel like I dodged a bullet but I also feel bad because I didn’t think I did anything wrong and want to explain myself.

Ive noticed both @pancakestained and @mythoughtswillfollowyou have been deactivated. @/joangate is still up.

I also noticed no one here has been mentioning @/dungeonsandddarya's (formerly @/dungeonsanddarya) part in this whole fiasco. She was harrassing people who came out about the situation and spread Joan's lies. She seems to be pretty inactive right now, but it's sketchy. Id say she's more likely to be a seperate person from joan rather than being them or part of their system. My question is what did Joan tell her that made her commit to this harrassment campaign as well? I think its another thread to look into. Her blog was also only created last February so im not entirely ruling out that it could be an alt too.

I was also blocked on main a year and change ago for seemingly no reason after nothing but kind exchanges. Since then I have been followed on multiple unlinked accounts, the only through line being vague references to the OC I gushed about for the commissions. Now that I’m thinking more I also think one might have been directly after vaguing about how weird this whole situation was. I was followed on Bluesky recently leading me to be curious about if they unblocked me on tumblr, ultimately finding I am not the only one with a bad experience.

I’ve been sent into a bit of an anxiety / paranoia spiral every time I’ve been reminded of them. I realize now that this situation was not targeted at me specifically but a pattern of behavior, but I’m still I’m not going to post about this on my main for fear of retaliation.

from my experience with Joan i was pretty sure it was because of the homestuck animated pilot? she posted "i can't stop crying today" on the same day it was announced and from that point forward it seems people started getting blocked.

then in our dms after the first time she blocked me, she told me she had blocked *hundreds* of mutuals trying to keep herself "safe" from it. she said it was a huge problem but one specific alter just kept purging anyone who posted anything even vaguely related to hs2, the epilogues or the animated pilot to protect their bubble of old homestuck...

throughout they'd blog history they've repeatedly said if they can't be in 2014, they'd lose it. they've called themself a study on "obsession and the inability to move on" relating to it... it's pretty sad, honestly

whoa. thatd explain a large chunk of blockings post pilot. i really really want to see her grow past trying to embody that time period if thats whats going on.

i havent seen joan tag or notewashing in about a week, but i do still see her blog is updating and getting hundreds of notes. no need to check, please keep yourself safe and sane and away from her.
