Constant Uncertainty
We strive to attain certainty in all we do, yet this world only has uncertainty to offer.
You treat your body with care, limit the "unhealthy" substances, take it to the gym for strength and health, in hopes that in return it will live to its fullest, longest years free from ailment. Then uncertainty creeps in naturally. That well-pampered body back stabs you one day. Once fresh and strong is now frail and sick-prone.
We seek for security and lasting shelter in all things uncertain - the world, the economy, our friendship, our relationship, our marriage, our career, our fame and success, and even this body we call ours.
We never stop running away from constant uncertainty. We just want victory over the reality - an impossible fight to win. We are walking on threads, hopeful that life as we know it, will remain unchanged. -V
