Personally I think it’s only because I see things clearer when I’m on the outside looking in. It’s always easier that way. I’m not sure I’d be able to follow my advice if I were in their position. To be fair, it’s not the first time someone’s said something like that to me. But I never saw it as a positive point. Who wants to be considered to have an “old soul”. Can’t I be stupid and dumb without disappointing anyone.

Parents didn’t want a photo with me?!

On a brighter note, bf came to drive me off to lunch today. He told his boss yesterday that he’d take the day off today and work from home. I couldn’t get him a ticket at the congregation but he still whisked me off to lunch between dealing with his work. Then after it was all done we went to watch Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts :D Gotta be grateful for the small things.
