“My meds are regulated now. I’ll remember sooner or later what actually happened. It always comes back. But I need out of here.” Brooke sighed a little bit. “Think we could escape to roof?”

The moment that he heard those words, he could feel his insides start to twist up. He wouldn’t blame her for wanting to talk to him because well he had been gone and work had basically consumed his life at the moment. “Of course, what’s going on? Should we go back to my place?”

Jayden had been working since Brooke had been brought in, he honestly didn’t have that much time off lately. So when he was able to manage a day, he had been planning to spend it with Hope. Which is why he had two coffees as he exited the Coffee Bean. Seeing her though when she came up to him, Jayden couldn’t help but smile. “Hey..” Leaning over, he kissed her cheek lightly. “For you, your favorite. Also a way for me to apologize for not being around that much.” 

Hope bit her lip as she took the coffee from him, feeling her heart practically drop at the nice gesture and the kiss on the cheek. This was awful... because it wasn’t like she didn’t care for him at all, of course she did! “Thanks...” She breathed. “Um, I... wanted to, uh, talk actually...”

"What the fuck." He muttered, but eventually decided what the hell and shrugged it off.

She hadn’t been sleeping properly and she was stressed, to put it mildly. Hope sighed as she dragged herself through the streets, feeling a bit apprehensive as she made her way to Jayden’s place. She couldn’t remember if he’d been working or not but she figured she’d try there first. However, she spotted him as she moved to cross the road, coming out of a coffee shop and she veered off to go and meet him. “Uh, hey...”

Hope took a shaky breath as she frowned at the message from -A. Fuck. She had said anything but she hadn't really thought it through when she'd said it. She threw her phone across the room in frustration, watching it bounce off the couch. Luckily her dad had just left. Hope stayed where she was for a moment before she stood and trailed over to the phone, the fight having quickly gone out of her, sent off a reply and then quickly grabbed her keys to go and find Jayden....

'Fine.'

“No idea, she has been with Brooklyn a lot but she might be at work. Why? You don’t want to just hang out?” He questioned, raising a brow slightly. Taking a drag of his own cigarette.

Jayce shrugged and shook his head. “Nah, nah, just makin’ conversation.” He chuckled. “What about you then?” Change of subject would be wise, he decided. “What you been getting up to, I feel like it’s been ages.” The town was going to shit but he had his own problems to deal with.

“Where’s your sister at today anyway?” He asked nonchalantly, taking a drag of the cigarette he’d just lit up.

A frown as she scanned the message, quickly wiping her eyes.

'Anything.'

“Drive safely please.” This wasn’t something that Jackie could just keep hidden from Lauren. The hospital was bond to call her especially since Brooke was alive and well. “I’ll call Imogen and Daniel and Graham unless you want to while on the way.” Jackie hated this because she knew what it meant. But she also knew that she wasn’t just going to walk away from Lauren. The brunette couldn’t do that not after everything they had been through and then finally getting together. Yes, Brooke was her wife but clearly Lauren had feelings for her right?

“I think we both did..” And Amelia rarely if anything did not drink like that. It seemed like her own headache was going to last for her days and the redhead hated that. Hell she hated the fact that Brooklyn had the same headache probably. Maybe they shouldn’t have drank so much last night.

“We should look for receipts or something from the bar or from where ever that was. Or our credit card statements.” Oh god, if she used her mother’s card for this, Amelia was going to be in so much trouble. “So this means that we are…married..” Not that it wasn’t a bad thing or anything like that. It was more shocking if anything.

Amelia had no doubt in her mind that her mother was going to kill her as well. Both of them, she had never done anything like this before especially after telling them that she would be home. Wyatt was the one that always stayed out late and did things he shouldn’t. “Same.” And her head was pounding but they had more pressing issues apparently. 

After moving off the bed to get dressed herself. Clearly they had done something by the rings on both of their fingers. “Shit is right..” This was something that Amelia would never do which sent her into start pacing a little bit. “I don’t think so, this doesn’t feel like a joke.” Heading over to her jacket, she started looking through her pockets for anything, finding her phone she seen a lot of missed calls from both of her mothers and brother. Opening it, she went to the photos and found a lot of them. “Fuck..I don’t think it’s a joke, Brooklyn..” Moving over to her, she handed the blonde her phone.

Brooklyn didn’t know what the hell to think because she could barely remember anything. “God, I must have had a whole bar full of alcohol..” she muttered, rubbing her temples. She wondered how long this headache would last.
