couple of ppl seemed to appreciate the transcriptions of the yokai hideout descriptions, so i figured i'd share the hashimoto hq descriptions as well
Front Gates
In the tradition of the Japanese royal residences of old, Hashimoto Headquarters is at once opulent, intimidating, and awe-inspiring. It all undersells the cutthroat nature of those who occupy it.
Mizuki's Backdoor
A knock on the front door isn't getting anyone into the Stronghold. If there's a single weak-point for infiltration, this is it.
Lobby
Gaudy and loud, the room gives a strong impression of the classic Hashimoto vibe.
Reception Desk
Five separate receptionists are staged here to greet any guests⦠even the unwanted kind.
Elevators
Only a select few floors are accessible by the rank and file of the Hashimoto. Those who dared to set foot higher up likely didn't enjoy their visit.
Basement 1A: Train Access
Private train cars sit ready at all times, should the Hashimoto need quick transport to any number of wards and districts.
Basement 1B: Garage
A large, hangar-like expanse that houses countless vehicles for the organization. Several attendants and drivers remain on constant alert, should Shion or the elders require transport.
Basement 2: Armory
The heart of the Hashimoto's operation. As their weapon acquisition and trafficking operations continue to grow, the organization have caught the eye of powerful global forces such as Talon and their new leader, Vendetta.
Basement 3A: Holding & Interrogation
Individuals of every level, from average citizen to ambassadors and dignitaries; regardless of stature, if you run afoul of the organization, you end up here.
Basement 3B: Toshiro's Forge
The source of the Hashimoto's recent surge of control, the Anima Weapons forged here give them unmatched firepower with which to seize their goals.
Basement 3C: Dojo
Even as the Hashimoto shrug off tradition and embrace the future, the honor of hand-to-hand combat is still observed and respected. Those that find themselves sparring with Shion might disagree.
Level 1: Operation
Where the logistics and details of various ongoing initiatives are managed. Handlers keep in constant contact with soldiers in the field, while various other departments handle such glamorous pursuits as blackmail, money laundering, protection, and more.
Level 2: Barracks
With the organization growing more rapidly than ever, many low level soldiers are housed in the headquarters itself, ensuring a sizable force can be called upon whenever the need arises.
Level 3: Shooting Range
The Hashimoto's range is riddled with the bullet holes of practicing grunts' shots. Between all of them combined and Shion, it's hard to say who's sprayed more casings.
Level 4: Kitchens
A large mess hall that offers expensive, prepared-to-order food. One of the better perks of joining the Hashimoto, and almost enough to clear one's conscience of the group's day-to-day activities.
Level 5: Training
Every Hashimoto recruit receives basic firearm and hand-to-hand training here. Additional training is available for those looking to rise through the ranks.
Level 6: Security Hub
The Security Hub has a finger on the pulse of almost all of Tokyo. From information kiosks, to government buildings, to people's homes; always assume that if it can be seen, the Hashimoto are there to see it.
Level 7: Boardroom
Where important current and prospective clientele come to meet with executive members of the organization. On the occasions that Shion makes an appearance, the meetings can turn a little more lively. And violent.
Level 8: Lieutenant Offices
Space used by those who have been promoted within the organization, each assigned their own assistant and employees to oversee.
Level 9: Council Chamber
Where the elders of the organization hear reports on current operations, and communicate their wishes to be distributed among the different levels of the group. Shion often enters the chamber unannounced, in a fit of rage.
Level 10: Shion's Office
As soon as one enters her office, it's clear as day who the true power behind the Hashimoto is. Traditional yet forward-looking, lavish and refined, the room emanates authority and poise. Provided Shion hasn't destroyed parts of it in anger that day, of course.
