“Don’t be sorry, it happens.” He told her, grinning until he began to study her a moment later. “Are---you ok there?”

“Lights, right. But that’s what I keep you around for Stells, all those good ideas.” He shot back with a smile, walking towards her. “yeah--enough for a lifetime I think” Wes’ voice trailed off, before he snapped back to focus. “Are you solely here to taunt me then, Coulson?”

“They’re pretty cool, huh?” Valeria asked, leaning on the door frame. “I prefer lab room four, but that’s just a personal preference.”

He turned at Val’s voice, grinning. “I’m gonna assume Lab four is yours then? Do I get a special tour if I ask nicely?”

Ariel walked in the lab happy to see Wes. “I guess it is cool, even if I don’t know what half of this stuff does.” She laughed..

He turned, brightening. “Ari!” Wes called out, walking over to hug her. “How have you been, blondie?”

“You mean the part where the doctor guy says ‘My god’ and takes his glasses off all over-dramatically?” he asked with a smirk

“Exactly like that. And then the next thing we know the school has been taken over by tony robots trying to enslave us all. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya”

“Pro tip from someone who watches a lot of sci-fi movies. Never compare your life to a sci-fi movie or aliens will appear and eat your small intestine”

“Damn, I already fucked up on day one” Wes said, laughing. “I think this would be more so along the lines of some nanobots experiment going wrong and the school disintegrating or something. Seems plausible, actually”

“You like? I set it up myself… Feel free to play around.” 

“I love it, Miss Smoak” Wes replied, hands hovering over some of the circuitry on one of the walls. “I wasn’t sure about coming back to school but this--this makes it all worth it I think”
