This Tumblr thing where people constantly treat lesbianism as a superior, more pure and wholesome way of loving and equals being a lesbian to being a better feminist actually does a terrible job because it teaches girls that they can’t expect a healthy relationship with a man and this is exactly how misogyny works. You truly only care about certain categories of women.

And the thing where a female character “is OBVIOUSLY a lesbian” because she’s tough and stands up for herself (thus complaining about queerbaiting if she gets a male love interest) is totally included in this awful phenomenon, because yes, let’s teach girls they can’t demand respect from men if they’re attracted to them!

This is why biphobia is rampant in this fucking site. Stop putting down girls for liking men, you are not helping anyone. Ultimately all orientations are equal, lesbian, bi, ace or straight, you deserve basic human respect and deserve to not be abused.

The brain is an organ. Mental illnesses are illnesses of that organ. Brain scans show that there is a physical difference between a healthy brain and a sick brain.
