Figured I should make a pinned post for this, since I'm trying to hold myself accountable and actually finish some of my fics. I recently finished the first part of my LotR AU, so here's hoping that continues.

Book 2: Against All Odds They’re splintered, shattered, falling again, losing brothers at every turn. Even the survival of one of their own isn’t enough to stop the darkness that’s closing in around them, but if they hold onto what they believe, trust in themselves and their brothers, maybe they might just survive this…

side note: I think 26 might be my new lucky number, because this one has 26 chapters, and the first part of my LotR AU (The Greenleaf and the Son of the Forest) was also 26 chapters 😂

as usual, you get the last lines(ish) from the main things i'm working on (i did have a longer version, but i figured i should stay a bit more true to the challenge, so i went back and found a previous save of the files and these were my actual last lines from roughly when i got tagged) ❤️

1. “Right,” Kix said, then he caught Fives’ arm and pulled him into a Keldabe kiss, “Good luck, vod’ika.” - In Our Brothers We Trust (Chp. 25, which is actually uploaded now)

2. It was only in the morning that the differences between them became more apparent, and with one member of the Fellowship in particular. - Bound to the Ring (Chp. 4, currently in the works)

3. Blitzø shakes his head in fond exasperation, “You’re incorrigible, Fizzy, fucking menace behaviour, that is.” - currently unpublished work (so not actually from Bloodline, but Chp. 11 of that is on the way too)

From In Our Brothers We Trust, I've picked Titch (CT-1880), my Corrie Medic OC, because he's grumpy and sassy and I love him (he's a lot like Kix, just with the sass levels turned way up)

Batchmates with Kosmos (who is killed by the Zillo beast in canon, but survives in this AU - The Beast from Below), the rest of their batch is all still alive, just not stationed on Coruscant

CMO of Strike Company (Riot Legion, Coruscant Guard), under Commander Thorn. Strike is also where Cutup gets assigned, and Titch develops a strong friendship with his little brother, despite his general grumpiness. It's mostly down to the fact that he has to see Cutup more frequently, and Cutup will actually sit still and let him do his job most of the time

He's absolutely allergic to admitting that he cares, but like most medics, he has a heart of gold and a soft spot a mile wide when it comes to his brothers, especially his little brothers. See aforementioned relationship with Cutup - 'If Titch ever admitted to having favourites, Thorn was sure Cutup would be at the top of the medic's list...' (IOBWT, Chp. 6)

'Though he be but little, he be fierce' is Titch in a nutshell. He's the smallest of his batch, despite being the oldest, and didn't hit his final growth spurt until after his deployment to the Guard, hence his name (Titch means little/small and he be small)

He'll deny it until he's blue in the face, but he actually kinda likes being smol and when his big brothers call him Titch'ika, it makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside (Thorn is very aware of this, and abuses it sometimes when Titch is being stubborn)

Bonus fact: Titch's favourite drink is the SW equivalent of a dirty chai - sweet and spiced with a shot of caf ❤️

The King of Lust and his little pocket-rocket jester 🌈❤️

Stolas hoots in delight, catching Blitzø around the waist and spinning them both in a circle. Blitzø yelps in surprise and clings on tight, but he’s laughing as Stolas prances around the room before setting Blitzø down so he stands on the bed. Stolas leans back a little so he can look at Blitzø’s face, still keeping his arms looped around the imp’s waist. Blitzø drapes his arms loosely around the owl's shoulders, “Hi…” “Hello, darling,” Stolas coos, “Thank you for allowing me this chance to be part of your life..."

Stolas lets his feathers flatten, “Okay, I trust you, Blitzy,” He cuddles Blitzø close, “I trust you to keep our little one safe.” “Little ones.” Once again, Stolas feels his thoughts grind to a halt, “Pardon, darling?” Blitzø stifles a laugh, turning in Stolas’ lap so he kneels between the owl’s legs, facing him. He takes Stolas’ hand and settles it gently against one side of his stomach, “Little one,” He moves their joined hands to the other side, “Other little one.” “Twins?” Stolas gasps with delight. “Uh-huh,” Blitzø says, grinning with all his fangs...

This is the last post for this chapter (unless I think of another little scene I want art for), but I do want to have at least one piece for each chapter of this fic, so apologies in advance for the Helluva Boss spam.

Bloodline - Chapter 3: Pretty Bird

These two disasters are so cute together, I swear 🥰

Despite being a prince, Stolas finds cleaning quite calming, especially doing dishes. Something about being up to his elbows in hot soapy water soothes his soul when he’s feeling a little fragile. He’s swaying along to…something…when he realises that it’s actually Blitzø humming. The imp has crossed back to the main worktop and is meandering his way along the bench towards Stolas, gracefully negotiating around the various appliances until he reaches the sink, which is set below a big window that looks out into the rambling palace gardens beyond. The position of the window is because Stolas likes being able to wash the dishes and look at his plants, two of his favourite things, odd though that combination might be. The window also has a little sill that is tiled to be an extension of the backsplash behind the sink. It is here that Blitzø settles with a little chirrup, cradling his mug of tea in his hands and taking intermittent sips as he watches Stolas. “Did you miss me that much, Blitzy?” Stolas teases. Blitzø flicks his tongue at Stolas, “Fuck you.” There’s no heat behind it, and Stolas knows by now that Blitzø’s particular brand of affection can be a little abrasive, so he doesn’t take it personally. He just hums and blows a little kiss in the imp’s direction, delighting in the pretty flush that colours his little love’s cheeks. Bloodline - Chapter 4: Momma's Boy

Yay! Our favourite chaotic menace and his neurotic owl-boyf just chilling in the kitchen while Stolas does the dishes (dishes that I did not draw, I just really wanted to put Stols in pink rubber gloves 😂)
