i'm fucking sorry WHAT. i am soooooo sick and tired of all the lore inconsistencies because the writers at riot are so spread thin from all the firing and whatever and like, there's retconning to make better lore and smooth things over or add new things and blending and merging to make sense of it all, but this???????????????????????????

there's just been a certain vibe lately that is making me soooooo.

like! i'm not trying to police people's content and deliver ultimatums like we're adults here but like quite frankly. i really don't like willful ignorance and i don't like when people are HAPPY to remain willfully ignorant and refuse to educate themselves on things that matter in big or small ways. i get the rpc is supposed to be our means of escapism and a safe space, and like, yes, i agree! however! that doesn't mean we should keep ourselves ignorant to what's happening around us and the world at large because it affects us all. and when you're choosing to ignore the fact that people are happily zionists or racist, when you're choosing to ignore that the creators of xyz source material are whatever -ist, -phobic, etc., and when you're choosing to ignore the fact that friends/mutuals/whoeverthehell are happily supporting those creators, it's like. what are we doing! like ok sure do what you want, but like how are we going to enforce a sense of like, moral compass standard but then ... ignore other creators who are just as bad and the fact that their fans, and people who happily rp content from these things, are just as bad.

and how everything circles back on top of the burden of being the eldest daughter who is wholly alone in the world, where her sister has always had her mother, and despite how katarina has done everything right she could never make marcus happy, to the point where he finds some orphan in the streets of noxus to adopt and prime into his new blade and assassinate his own daughter.

and how this in turn all circles back around to katarina keeping people at an extreme distance because she can’t trust them to not turn on her in the end and how her guard is always up and how she can’t afford to be emotionally vulnerable with anyone and is, more or less, extremely emotionally repressed for all these years of trauma and isolation and having to grow up too fast.
