and, the man he had approached for a dance, just to keep up appearances--he is one of those people, whose smiles are intended to disarm unsuspecting opponents, to snare them in a trap they would have to cut off a leg to escape from.

"thank you very much, lord harbinger." another smile, demure and sweet, matching the image of the friendly and savvy commerce guild heir that everyone sees fei zheng as. of course, there is the possibility that la sirena has heard about what lays beneath the surface of the mask; a vixen, a manipulator, luring both men and women into his grasp and pulling them into the direction that he wants them to. "i must apologize in advance, as i occasionally have two left feet when i dance, but i will do my best to not cause you any trouble." an honest statement, as even when fei zheng's feeling in the tip-top shape that happens so rarely nowadays, he's never been a very good dancer.

he hasn't pulled in any harbingers quite yet, only securing the occasional professional meeting, but he is someone who appears so unassuming at first glance--and most do not care to look below the surface of the unassuming grey eyes and honeyed words that come so often with him. the harbinger's hand is steady in his as fei zheng leads him towards the dancing floor, each step measured and careful.

Which isn't a lie, the only person he maintains formalities with are the higher ups, at least the ones that are left. He's learned how to be a little bit more than an agent, coming with the territory of his promotion. When he has the choice of going to balls, and it isn't something the Tsaritsa's ordered him to do, he tends to be far more genial and open...Well, as open as he wants to be.

"Well, even if you have two left feet, I don't mind leading our dance. Of course, if you want to skip dancing and simply talk, I'm not exactly opposed to it."
