This pretty much sums up my amazing life here in Italy.

Arezzo. Visited Vasari’s house, a modern art museum, San Francisco Chiesa and the Duomo. Beautiful park at the top of the old town and a wonderful piazza. Arezzo did not feel touristy at all.

Copy of the ancient roman statue "Laocoön" in the Ufizzi. Inspiration for many artists including Michelangelo because of the "figura serpentina" spiral like motion of the body. Despair and agony over an inevitable fate.

Protest today against dictatorship in Ukraine

Venice was beautiful, but definitely hindered by the prophet of tourism. Recommend the Cinchetti strip for a fun night out. The Accademia was fantastic, works from Veronese, Tintoretto, and Titian. You can really see the colors of Venice reflected in the paintings.

Beautiful Orvieto. Lovely hill town in Umbria with a vibrant youthful scene, great bars and restaurants, and a beautiful surrounding countryside.

Got to hit up some Italian slopes at Abetone. Beautiful sunny day, snow was okay, but best lodge food and cappuccino ever. Didn't have any gear so I had to ski in blue jeans and sunglasses, weather could not have been better! Nice to be back in the mountains where I feel complete.
