Added three items to my Etsy today: two bath bombs and one soap! This rainbow soap was actually my first soap inspired by music, but I didn't hold a contest because I wasn't sure anyone would be able to guess correctly. So these unique, rainbow soaps are inspired by @hippiesabotage* and are appropriately named, Heart of the Hippie. I definitely recommended listening to their song Your Soul, which is linked in the Etsy listing. The scent is a mixture I came up with on my own, that I wish to call Sweet Mimosa! I also made some bath bombs in this scent:
With bright, girly colors like these, it seemed necessary to add glitter! All of the bath bombs are topped with glitter, but only half of the soap cupcakes have some since I know not everyone is a fan.Â
The bath bombs will be listed on Etsy this TUESDAY! And you can expect to see the cupcakes up in about 4 weeks!Â

ââLush Review 2.15.16ââ Sea Essentials
This post is strictly for my first Lush review!*
Now that I am able to put aside more time for my business, I want to start actively blogging. I think I can get into the habit of blogging by consistently doing reviews of products (my own included). This will also be useful once I start vlogging/filming my process of making soap- which I can hopefully start doing soon! So if Iâve interested you so far, keep reading for a review of two Lush products c:

So this is the Pop in the Bath bubble bar! I believe I bought this a week after Christmas. Like most people after the holidays, I was broke, and only went to the mall to utilize some of the gift cards I had received. Naturally, one of the fist places I wanted to go to was Lush (no gift card)- TREAT YO SELF.
I have been exceptionally intrigued by bubble bars recently. The minute I discovered them, I instantly wanted to make my own. No, I donât buy Lush products so I can mimic their awesomeness, but I do genuinely love to use them. Iâve had the pleasure of experimenting with Lush bubble bars just so I can get the feel of how exactly they (bubble bars in general) are supposed to work (how big should I make them, how hard they should be, what shapes work better than others, etc). And of course I get a bubbly, relaxing bath out of it, too.
So now for the details:
ââweight: 3.5 oz ââprice: $7.95 ââscent: bergamot, lemon, and mandarin (as specified on the Lush website) ââlather: low/medium
Due to the relative smallness of this bar (have you seen any of their 7oz bars?!), it produced a low amount of bubbles. Even after leaving it under the running water until there were only tiny bits sitting on the bottom of the tub, the lather of this bar was not immense. In addition to the running water, I attempted to agitate the water and little bits at the bottom to produce as many bubbles as possible. This helped a bit.Â
Like I said, small bar=small bubbles, so there is nothing bad to be said about Pop in the Bath. Especially considering the color it produced!Â
While holding it under the faucet, the water first became a deep lavender because of the pink flower mixing with the blue base. But once the bar was gone, the bath water became a royal blue; these pictures really donât do it justice. It reminded me of the blue color at the ends of my hair, so naturally that pleased me.Â
Just for funsies, I decided to add one of my own handmade bath bombs. It was a small (maybe 2oz) gingerbread man bomb I had left over from the holidays. I dropped him in the tub not long after finishing with the bubble bar, and I was really impressed with the light, lime green color that formed on top of the bubbles.Â
Letâs be real here, I enjoy my baths much differently than most people. I canât simply drop in a bath bomb or use a bubble bar and then sit back and get lost in my thoughts. If Iâm using a new product, which is most of the time, I am busy taking notes on the color, scent, lather, or taking pictures. But donât get me wrong, I seriously enjoy this process and itâs my idea of a relaxing bath.Â
So with that being said, once I was done observing my bubble bar/ bath bomb experiment, I tested out this Snowcake soap for the first time. Also from Lush, this soap bar came from a roommate as a part of a secret santa gift (Iâm really bad at using new products right away, can you tell).Â
ââweight: roughly 4-4.5oz ââprice: $7.95 ââscent: rose and benzoin resinoid (known for its sweet vanilla ice-cream scent) (as specified on the Lush website) ââlather: super creamy
I was surprised at how creamy and smooth this soap was. It almost felt like a bubbly lotion... if that makes sense. It has very similar qualities to my Avocado Addiction Soap. I think the thickness of the soap helped the scent last a rather long time. Itâs been about two hours since my bath and my skin is still giving off quite a strong scent from it. I usually notice most soap scents fading from my skin quickly. Hopefully I donât wake up tonight hungry from the smell of ice cream on my skin!
And lastly I just want to end this post by showing the totally rad poster I found in the gift box the Snowcake soap came in! I donât know how I didnât see it until now. The reverse side has some facts about Lush and actually recommends recycling the paper as gift wrap. I, instead, thought it would make a cool poster.

Say hello to my newest creation! Super stoked on how the top turned out (especially since the blue and green should both darken up a bit). As usual, I'm totally nervous about the middle. I tried something new, so we'll see if it worked. I already have a name for this one, but I won't reveal until I see how the bars actually turned out. I also made a time lapse of making this soap from start to finish, so I'll try to post some clips from that tonight/tomorrowđ¤đź As usual, shoutout to @brambleberry for the Energy fragrance and @nurturesoap for the micas!

Words can't explain how happy I am with this soap â¤ď¸đđđđ Still thinking of a name, but I will have this listed on my Etsy asap! So like 4 weeks.
Just look at it!⨠I've always been scared to try a soap swirl with 6 different colors, but I think I was pretty successful. Guess I'll really find out when I cut the bars later. Scent is Flower Child from @brambleberry and the micas are from @nurturesoap!
