Mondstadt was cool, the characters were also cool, but only that. I don't have a big opinion on them since I haven't done much thing on the Nation yet, my big favourites are obviously Diluc, because I think his personality is very funny with his constant "Acab" attitude with the knights of favonious, Venti, because of the cool dichotomy of Lazy and drunkard Bard and the powerful and respected Anemo Archon and Klee, because she's a little cutie with a slight pyromaniac tendency and a very kind heart.

Exploring Mondstadt was fun, it's a very green and beautiful map, even tho I absolute despite Dragonspine with every bone of my Body, I did found Mondstadt to be a good experience. The only moment I got any difficulty on Mondstadt was with the Ruin Guards, but mostly because I was Underleveled, I'm still very bad at dodging but I'm managing (aka my world is always 1 AR down as it should be because I suffer from Skill issue) so Mond was very chill.

Liyue striked me like a truck, it became my favorite place so fast I got actually surprised! The place is so beautiful and lively and it reminds me a lot of my own home, I love climbing in the mountains, jumping from the biggest one and just watching the landscape, exploring the destroyed ruins, talking with that one soldier that misses his daughter, the perfume lady, Madam Ping, even Verr! Liyue mythology and History makes me so happy and scratch something on my brain that makes me want more and more!

My favorite Liyue characters are, obviously, Zhongli, Xiao and Qiqi. Zhongli because oh how that man has mysteries and cool stories, everytime he appears I know I'll somehow find a shady and interesting piece of the History of the world that people turned into Folkloric stories that changed because they were probably told mouth to mouth... I might have got too exited talking about him... Hmm

Xiao brings me the same feeling as Zhongli, old, full of wisdom, like if a piece of History just walked out of a museum and is awkwardly looking at society because he doesn't know how to fit anymore, whatever is wrong with him makes me want to put him under a microscope and discover and understand every secret of his soul. And Qiqi makes me incredibly sad and interested on her situation... And she really won me with the Cocogoat...

Also, i don't know why, but he gives a lot of "I'm trying so hard to look mysterious and cool, is it working?" Vibes

I'm technically a new Genshin player, I played the beginning of Mondstadt when the game first released but choosed to give up because I was around my 12yo and Genshin was my first open world as someone used to play games like Pokemon and those "games to play offline", so I got frustrated with the combat and gave up on the game. I always liked the characters design and listening to my friends who played rambling about the game, so I have some knowledge about things and terms, but not the full picture.

With that said, I'm in the middle of the third act of the Liyue Quest.

I have no idea about building characters, making teams, rotation, elemental reaction and this stuff, I'm pretty sure my team also sucks and I lack the ability to defeat the bosses to level up my characters. But aside my clear skill issues, the game is cooler than I expected.
