2020 The Year of Historic Events at the Halfway Mark

During the weekend we witnessed NASA and SpaceX working together to bring an American crew of 2 into space, destination the ISS (International Space Station).

The video below from the NASA official YouTube channel is 9 hours long but I’ve bookmarked it so that if you hit play you’ll be able to watch from the 10 seconds before the actual launch.

Outer Banks 2020 is not a masterpiece but it doesn’t try to be one, it’s doing its own thing well and it works just fine. With these times we’re going through wright now it’s a great summer at the beech teenage nostalgia TV show where the protagonists get into trouble and do stupid stuff in an island type community and scenery. IT Chapter 1 seemed to target a younger audience and/ or appeal to one’s sense of reminiscing about the past and one’s childhood. Better for the nostalgia than the horror factor.

The imagery was somewhat surreal which is understandable because the idea was to be transported in time, in the past to your childhood and the way it was filmed and edited did a great job on that.

Two monks were returning to the monastery in the evening. It had rained and there were puddles of water on the road sides. At one place a beautiful young woman was standing unable to walk across because of a puddle of water. The elder of the two monks went up and lifted her to the other side of the road, and continued his way to the monastery.
