Scribblywobbly

It’s been fun here on the ol tumbles, but it’s time I say goodbye for good. There’s lots of reasons, but I don’t want this to turn into a wall of text so I’ll keep this as short as possible. I’ve changed a lot this year, and have slowly moved away from using tumblr. The last thing I used it for was a commission page, and that’s been moved to my website now so I don’t have a use for it anymore. Plus, like I said in my hiatus post, engagement here has been really low. Even if it wasn’t, though, I was spread too thin trying to keep up with posting to so many different places. It’s been a big help to cut out a couple sites, especially since I used to spend way too much time just scrolling my dashboard. I’ll never forget the things I learned about myself here, though. It was a nice feeling to see I wasn’t alone in a lot of ways.

I’m still unsure if I’ll permanently delete everything yet. I’ll probably get around to it eventually, but in the meantime it’ll stay up so this post can circulate and let anyone still interested in following me know where to find me. Speaking of which, I’m not just saying goodbye to tumblr, but the username scribblywobbly (which originated from my time here). My new username everywhere else is my full name from now on: Brenda Amerind. Since I’ve moved into being a full-time freelance artist, I wanted something more professional, and many artists I follow just use their real names anyway.
