Hobbogobbo Brainrot

For the foreseeable future I'm not going to be posting any art on my socials. There's a couple reasons for this:

I'm trying to stay away from social media in general.

I'm working through healing my relationship with art (particularly perfectionism) and lowering my expectations and keeping pieces to myself is part of that journey.

I won't lie, my engagement is extremely low and I'm having problems with theft of my NSFW pieces. This does not encourage me to post.

The internet is becoming more hostile for artists. I don't like feed format. What I'd prefer most is what DeviantArt offers with folder structure, but with them utilizing AI and not allowing adult content that's not an option. I'm already split between several platforms and none of them tick all my boxes. This also discourages me from being active online.

Speaking of AI, I hate feeling like artists' only options are "get used to being stolen from, or don't post lol". Okay. I won't. I'm tired of worrying about being exploited and I'm tired of looking over all the different software I have to feed my art through to protect it before I post it. This isn't worth the trouble.

Oh, did I have trouble cropping this one for tumblr...Belka's back! A redraw of this. The entire uncensored piece (and a little dialogue to go with it) is here on my Pillowfort! Belka is @phillillillip's character; a goblin NPC from our homebrew Pathfinder campaign.

OUGH. A warm-up doodle that turned into a color scheme study. I've struggled with palettes a long time and I think it's starting to click.

We're wrapping up our third arc and Tavosh [right, my PC Mimsi's (left) coworker and almost love interest] is finally back in game! The party's on their way back to home base and it's a few days' ride by carriage--I've left it up for interpretation whether Tavosh is putting his arm around Mimsi intentionally or not. It's early December in a southern location, so I wanted to go with some cute and cozy autumn vibes.

Tavosh belongs to GM @phillillillip though honestly at this point we might as well have joint custody.

No, Mimsi's reference sheet from last week is not done. I am beating the ADHD allegations by bouncing between them when I get sick of clothing design 😎👉👉

Working (slowly) on a new reference sheet for Mimsi. I think it needs another outfit or two, maybe her weapons, maybe a couple expressions or a profile if I'm feeling brave. I feel like the gold dress is missing something. Clothing design has always been a weak area for me.

A quick little one-shot smut I wrote this week featuring my PC Mimsi from our homebrew Pathfinder campaign (18+ ONLY).

Summary: Hobgoblin emissary Mimsi is on a diplomacy mission with a new coworker. After stumbling upon him half-naked, she finds herself in need of a little relief…

Taking a break from drawing and splinting hasn't done a lot for my RSI, but I'm seeing some improvement from an ergonomic mouse (I think mouse use and poor posture is the culprit).

I'm in pain every day and the last thing I want is to condition myself to hate drawing (or writing, since it hurts regardless). I haven't exactly been pleased with my art lately either. What I really, really want is to get to a place where I can draw more regularly without burnout or pain, so...depending on how long I need to treat whatever's wrong I think I'll be spending that time doing studies and practicing in short sessions. I think my art is suffering because I DON'T practice my basics or draw when I'm not making "masterpieces".
