SCP-Watch (Overwatch SCP AU)

Considering the shenanigans that Taylor has to endure on a regular basis, I could see SCP-000 being a huge help to him both emotionally and physically as well. Like, literally physically.

Depending on the version, SCP-00 acts as a deterrent for other more hostile SCPs, and that in turn means Taylor doesn't end up like plenty of other personnel of his rank during the occasional containment breach. In other words: not dead. I don't think he would honestly realize this benefit to their presence at first, but give him a few close brushes with an untimely and horrifically painful death and he'll start putting two and two together.

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-313 is to be kept in a 15’ by 20’ room, furnished fully with biological and genetics research equipment according to approval from at least Class B personnel or higher. All requests from SCP-313 for any furnishings (to include those that break or need replacement) should be properly routed through the supervisory team as outlined in SCP-313’s log. The room is always to be sealed, and it’s 1’ concrete outer walls are to be inspected weekly.

Only through the authority of SCP-313’s containment specialist is it allowed any physical contact with anyone. Under circumstances that are less than dire (such are described in subsection 125.2 in SCP-313’s log) all contact with it must be through a dual closed-circuit system, in order to minimize risk of personal and mental injury to personnel.

Description:

SCP-313 appears to be an androgynous but female human of approximately 30 to 40 years of age, determined to be of Irish origin. It is tall and slender, with biotic-like enhancements adorning much of its body. It is noted by many researchers that the right side of SCP-313’s body seems to ‘lack life, color and health in any form’. Whether this is tied into SCP-313’s subsequent influence on living organisms around it is yet to be revealed.

Much of SCP-313’s time seems devoted to it’s personal ‘research’, though never gives much insight into the research itself despite many logged trials of questioning. There is a recorded obsession with the aspect of genetic modification, though it’s unknown whether this obsession began or was caused by the ongoing research.

When allowed to conduct it’s personal research, SCP-313 shows little malevolence towards researchers or other personnel. When it is restricted, confined or otherwise not allowed to conduct research, SCP-313 will go into a rage-like trance and make every attempt to break out of confinement.

SCP-313 exhibits the ability to absorb the life energy of anyone it comes into physical contact with. Any individual who experiences this ability will undergo rapid aging and, under extreme cases, rapid decomposition. This is believed to be the reason for SCP-313’s constant state of fluctuating appearance and health. SCP-313 is able to reverse the ability and has even offered promising possibilities of rejuvenation, but this has only been noted in one case during one of her research experiments through surveillance cameras and cannot be entirely proven.

Due to recent worries of a containment break due to incidents in log 180330, at least one class D or lower personnel will be provided to SCP-313 every year.

Research Summary:

Log 180330, 1:

Subject (SCP-313) attempted a near-successful containment break after several days of being in a rage-state. Researchers came to the conclusion that this was due to the inadequacy of the provided equipment and supplies allowed to SCP-313’s research.

Conversation between Dr. [REDACTED] and SCP-313 are provided below, after SCP-313 killed three researchers in an attempt to escape containment.

The conversation below was held through a closed-circuit connection.

SCP-313: You can’t expect me to have any worth in my research with the sub-par supplies you give me.

Dr. [REDACTED]: Sub-par?

SCP-313: There’s only so much research that I can do on myself, you know.

Dr. [REDACTED]: Wasn’t your equipment enough?

SCP-313: Enough? [Laughs] This is barely enough to entertain a child. I need real supplies, things I can work with-

Dr. [REDACTED]: Like the researchers you killed?

SCP-313: I’d wager to say that they were volunteers for a genetic breakthrough, but call it what you may.

Dr. [REDACTED]: ….did you attempt a containment breach because you require live specimens?

SCP-313: How else will I get anywhere with my research?

Oooo, that’s really cool! I’m not very familiar with the Fantastic Beasts movie, but I did do a quick look up of the character and term and honestly that’s a pretty interesting comparison / mental imaging of SCP-666 :3c

I’m not quite sure what SCP you’re referring to, but I’m still happy to write for it! 

Also it doesn’t have to be a female technically, since trans men like myself have the physical ability to get pregnant c: It could also still be played with in all sexes, as SCPs probably don’t inherently have a concept of physical sex, as they are largely not bound by the same humanoid or biological constants as we are.

If you show Junkrat any level of attention or time, he will vehemently consider you a friend, or at least someone he feels comfortable speaking to. Whether it’s due to yourself being SCP-000 or not, he seems rather at-ease when it comes to talking to you, growing to a genuine level of possessiveness in terms of your time, attention and affection.

He doesn’ inherently seem to have any sexual desire for you, not at least at first. Where it may be a blazing, sudden fire for other SCPs, his is a bit more subdued, slow-growing, but his hyperfixation of you is not something to take lightly at all. Never before has Junkrat shown a genuine liking to another researcher or SCP other than Roadhog, so other researchers are very careful to make sure you’re not hurt.

As time goes on, it may be hard to realize that there’s a defined desire for you with Junkrat. It’s largely an issue if only because he doesn’t seem to want to touch you--so long he has been used to destruction in everything he touches, he’s genuinely not sure if he could accidentally kill you at first, regardless of what your abilities are as an SCP (if you are one). Nevertheless, eventually the two of you certainly get to a point where Junkrat’s possessiveness is definitely sexual--eventually he would get aggravated whenever you left his containment, though he feels comfortable with you meeting and spending time with Roadhog.

That’s a great idea actually, especially for this particular AU! I do recall that ask actually c: 

I absolutely love this! I imagine that the facility has to be EXTREMELY careful about who or what you’d get closest to, lest you cause a complete containment breach en-mass, which would spell terror and anarchy if it was one of the more dangerous SCPs.

You expect something inhuman. Something monstrous. Something surreal, beyond your ability to comprehend. There are a lot of things that you expect behind his mask, but the last thing on your mental list is exactly what meets your gaze when you finally pull off the mask, hiding away the face of the SCP you’ve been spending most of your time with over the past several months.

SCP-076 looks like a man. It’s not overly surprising, considering the rest of him is humanoid, and that has been marked down on his log time and time again, but...his face looks so human. You’re so used to fangs, to shadow, to inexplicable void or inhuman, lovecraftian horrors that the face of an old, tired man is the last thing you expect to be hiding behind the mask he clutches so tightly to wear.

There are no cameras, no artists on standby, no record-keeping equipment of any sort. As promised. Nothing but you and him, alone, within his containment unit. The trust between the two of you is almost palatable, a physical medium in which he’s allowed you to actually touch the mask let alone remove it from his face.

He looks so tired, years worn over his face in what you’d might have guessed was a middle-aged man, hair graying, eyes filled with wisdom.

His soft, beautiful blue eyes.

For once, you see SCP-076′s lips pull into a smile.

“Expectin’ something different?” He asks, amusement clear in his low, gravely voice. “Somethin’ a little more scary?” The lack of change in timbre is enough to suggest that the mask hadn’t been modulating the sound of his voice--he was always low, gravely and firm.

It’s okay! I just couldn’t discern the level of joking from the ask alone, especially since a previous anon talked about the reader attempting to kill themselves and the reactions of several SCPs, so I especially wasn’t quite sure how to respond with anything other than a more serious statement.

While a level of morbid or self-aware humor into the topic can sometimes be a manner of therapy for people or groups of people dealing with a wide variety of issues such as depression and anxiety, if you’re speaking in a real life and literal sense then I definitely suggest finding good outlets and methods to otherwise help you through those desires. 

Suicide is a complex issue and is very hard to answer or respond in asks, especially as this is an ask blog and the topics of the SCP fandom are often very dark and gothic. 

Even if this is in reference to a recent posting, I am not personally comfortable responding to this ask with anything other than what I already have above. 

Adding something to the unnoticeable-SCP!reader ask: they are in fact noticeable when their ability is active, but it's incredibly easy to not notice. They need to make a loud noise or physically touch a person for them to notice them and it's harder to remember what happens regarding SCP-101 when the ability is active. "Accepted" individuals seem immune to this effect and sometimes even notice SCP-101 before anyone else. This version of SCP-101 is allowed to roam freely, curfew(?) permitting ^^

That’s actually a really interesting thought! That’s what I honestly adore about the SCP fandom and AU, in that there are so many possibilities of how you can take the characters and almost literal science of everything.
