𝘊𝘢𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪 • This new drawing is based off of the beautiful equestrian jumps my mom built for her students. She spent years filling the farm with beauty. Everything, including her jumps, were hand painted using Amish quilts and various textile patterns as her inspiration for design. The exterior walls of the stable were accented with geometric paintings, as were dozens of tack chests that lined the barn isle. The farm was her work of art, but as kid I wasn’t able to provide it with the appreciation it deserved. I’m finding that by revisiting it through my art now, I’m able to celebrate and recognize all of the love that went into making our humble farm a home. • 14”x18” ink, colored pencil, oil pastel on paper. Howdy friends! I was scheduled to have my first Santa Fe solo exhibit this weekend at @formandconcept but it’s been rescheduled for the unforeseeable future!
