I imagine the bros actually try to be proper and civil with alfred (okay maybe not Alistair/scot), but I live for Arthur's brothers just telling Arthur he can do better, just the clear disapproval of the American.

Or even yet if we wanted real assholes they make bets on how long it's gonna last.

rhys (Wales) has prepared the scenario in his head for the day when the break up comes, and he knows what he's gonna say and how he's gonna comfort his poor idiot brother (because he's the s/mothering kind sometimes).

It's late evening and Connor and Alistair have sprawled themselves out on the couch, watching the telly. Rhys is in the middle of making tea for himself when there's a knock. He remembers himself thinking it odd at such an hour but opens the door anyway.

Before Alfred can even finish the sentence Rhys slams the door in his face out of pure shock/reflexes (fight or flight if you will, just kicks in haha) because what else is he supposed to do??

Alistair is immediately up and marching to the door (he's probably been waiting to go off on the American, and here he is delivered on their front door.

Connor wouldn't have gotten up for anything, not when he's comfy and his shows were on, but holy fuck what the hell is he doing here??? Holy fuck where's Arthur oh god don't let him know he's here- just full panic in his mind.

Maybe as Alistair is ripping into Alfred is when Arthur comes down to see what all the commotion was about, (worried there had been a fright in his absence, in his study) when him and Alfred lock eyes

Arthur asks what end Alfred has in mind for him, expecting to be executed, and Alfred says:

"This end."

Do I even need to say where he's pointing?

Arthur's like, "Are you serious?"
