working on the saboteur species, a subtype of imposter. because it's 2:00AM so why the hell not.

they're a subspecies of human (homo sapiens necator), unique for an imposter species (as most 'imposters' are fleshy alien parasite type things). the average saboteur won't have any biological advantages, but it isn't uncommon to see vipers, hypnotists and the like among them. despite being an imposter species, some saboteurs can end up with neutral roles like soul collector or guardian.

saboteurs aren't typically very aggressive, despite being obligate carnivores and an imposter subtype- they prefer to stick to animal prey and the occasional scavenged carcass. they are however extremely vengeful and hold STRONG grudges, especially against those who've killed their kin- which hasn't worked out very well for MIRA...

as for other assorted biology stuff- saboteur pups are born with a coat of fur on their back to assist with camoflage and heat regulation!

most lose it during puberty, though some retain their baby fluff, either partially as a crest of dorsal fur or entirely as a full coat.
