Imagine, you work for McCormick. 90% of what you sell are powders which you put in bottles made for powders. You also sell whole cloves and whole cinnamon sticks.

You have (essentially) two options. You could either:

A: Create a seperate packaging design for the 2-4 non-powder products you sell, which would require modifications to the production line and process.

B: Just use the same containers for everything, with the understanding that your customers are generally capable of unscrewing a lid.
