I completely understand your pain. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease last year. And yes! It is important to communicate with all your doctors about your symptoms and new diagnosis. Physical therapy is good for strengthening your core. Also, if your PCP says no, don’t stop there! Try to speak with an orthopedic specialists because they can directly talk with the physical therapist about the perfect plan for you. Never stop asking for help, until you get it because scoliosis hurts no matter what anyone else says.
