âTake your word? Youâre asking a lot of me, Mr Scott.â Brie teased. âOh, no. I already have your zimmer frame picked out. Itâs really cool, had flames going up the side and everything.â She teased. Brie felt so at ease with Adam. He got her in every way. when she fell pregnant with Juliet she wasnât sure how he would react, she didnât want him to feel she was taking over or stepping on the toes of his ex. But he accepted her, she had never been more in love. Brie furrowed her eyebrows together when they said Mr Scott hs an announcement. âWhat- Where- How?â she asked but he was already making his way down to the floor.Â
âUghhhhh,â Adam groaned out. âIf I ever get to the point where Iâm walking around with you using a walker, please just shoot me and put me out of my misery. Itâs the only way at that point,â Adam said with a laugh. âThe flames do sound pretty cool, though, good choice on that one.â Once Adam got down to the podium, he had to admit that he was pretty nervous at this point. âFirstly,â he said into the mic, âIâd like to say youâre welcome for getting you all out of class,â he said, resulting in a few laughs from the students. âInstead, however, you get to watch this brief powerpoint presentation,â he said, pointing a clicker to the projector screen behind him. It was a presentation on the importance of school, though it didnât really go that deep and was rather jokey and light-hearted. âAnyway,â he stated a bit later as he got through the presentation. âThe point is, school is great,â he added, flipping to a slide of an image of the front of their school. âI get it. Believe it or not, I was young once, but school continues to bring me great things, even as a teacher. To be candid with you, I never wanted to be a teacher, and I suppose it is a bit cheesy to say, but please allow it just this once from me. I think that fate really does have a funny way of working things out in the end. After all, had I never become a teacher and been at this school, I never would have met you lot of brats who Iâve come to tolerate. Plus, you know I wouldnât have met my wonderful beautiful girlfriend, Ms. Larson,â he said, moving his hand to motion to her direction in the bleachers resulting with a series of oooâs from the kids. A lot of you had a hand in helping two stubborn adults come together, which is just ridiculous really,â Adam laughed nervously. âI digress, this places holds a special place to me and thatâs why I felt it was important and asked the Principal to do me a favor and put together this assembly, so that I could do this and hopefully not make a fool of myself in front of everyone or else you guys are going to have to find a new Science and History teacher,â he chuckled, hitting the clicker to turn to the next slide that read âMiss Larson, will you marry me?âÂ
