This animal, the leaf sheep sea slug (Costasiella kuroshimae) can photosynthesize!
It consumes algae, and retains the algae's chloroplasts in a process called kleptoplasty. This allows the sea slug to supplement its diet with extra energy from sunlight.
Turtles are what it looks like when an endoskeletal organism has regrets

She Golgi on my Apparatus til I secrete vesicles
Some viruses- like HIV- have RNA, not DNA, as it's genetic material. These viruses are known as retroviruses.
After a retrovirus infects a cell, it uses an enzyme called reverse transcriptase to convert its RNA into DNA, and integrates its DNA into the DNA of the host cell to replicate.
Heterotrophs can't even produce their own food. Learn to photosynthesize, heteros 🙄.
Show me your mitochondria 😘
Honestly cis faces need to stick to receiving incoming transport vesicles and let trans faces secrete newly formed vesicles.
Transmembrane proteins are also cool & valid 😏

Ok smart people I need help. I tried asking Google but it just gaslit me and I fear I will never understand the disaccharides and the polysaccharides if i don't understand the monosaccharides!
so please I beg of you my brain is so smooth rn and I do not understand
WHERE IS THE SIXTH OXYGEN IN GALACTOSE OPEN CHAIN FORM. WHERE DID IT GO. WHAT DID IT DO WITH IT. Why are they only 5 Os when there are 6 Os in the rest I'm about to have an anxiety attack about it what did the GALACTOSE do with the SIXTH OXYGEN
So actually it turns out I'm just Very Autistic and my professor's graphic was wrong. C4 counting from the aldehyde should have a hydroxyl on the left side (HO-C-H instead of H-C-H)
I can't have been the first student to notice that though??? Right???
