The first part you made is a good point but it completely falls apart when it becomes overmasculinization. Manon is always depicted masculine and almost never feminine despite being a feminine person herself. It becomes a problem when its consistent. Her being portrayed masculine isn't a problem, its a problem when she is constantly overmasculizing Manon. And by the way, stud is an identity. Labeling somebody who doesnt care that identy is already an erasure.

And wdym interpreting her personality that way? What is so masculine about Manon's person that makes her always a alpha dom in he fanfics made about her? Manon is shy, introverted, calm, soft spoken and giggly. Nothing about her screams alpha so why she always portrayed that way?

I'm not saying that you cant depict Manon as masculine, what im saying is that this becomes misogynoir if you overmasculizine her, which is what some of the writers in katsbr are doing. It's always a constant trait about her which makes me wonder why is it that this is always a recurring thing. Same thing goes for the sassy, rude, bossy trait ya'll put on Dani. Daniela is always portrayed as a crazy latina gf which is just as annoying. I bet you can admit that the crazy latina gf trope on Dani is rooted in fetishization and racism so why can't that be applied to Manon that the constant dom trope is rooted in misogynoir.

And why do you guys need somebody to spoon feed everything to you. The reason why I say this its because its a recurring pattern. The other members get a mix of sub and top but for Manon she locked into the same trope.

Being a black woman doesn't stop you from endorsing racist stereotypes that portrays black women as these overmasculine alpha people. We live in a society that constantly devalues blk women, it's not impossible for another black woman to reproduce those same harmful tropes. Intentionally or unintentionally.

Nobody said you can't portray Manon as masculine, I said the opposite if you read my post. I'm saying its harmful if you constantly overmasculizine her. Most, if not, all of your works consist of Manon in this dominant alpha role for some whatever reason.

I'm not calling you racist, I'm saying that you are endorsing racist and harmful stereotypes on the only black member of a global girl group. I've read all of your works and I've noticed that all of the girls who you write for all each have a mix of sub and Dom roles in their fanfics. But for some reason, Manon is the only one stuck as the dominant one. Each of her fics, she is the dom and alpha one. She is locked in one trope, a trope that has a racist history behind it.

And for the public posting part, I partly made this post public for you to see and others as well. This problem i have isn't necessarily only directed to you, it's directed to pretty much most of the writers in katsblr. I want them to see how Manon is constantly overmasculizined in her fanfics and there's very few fics about her when she is feminine, submissive and soft.

I sent that ask. Not with a malicious intent but to maybe criticize and educate this person of harmful stereotypes. Unfortunately they got defensive. My ask wasn't to stir up drama like how they said I'm trying to do, but to educate them. It's okay to have preferences, don't get me wrong. But there is a bridge between preferences and racism. And unfortunately, this person is slightly leaning onto the racism bridge.

For decades, black women have been stripped of their femininity and have been treated as hyper masculine because they think blk women cannot be feminine. All of the other tropes like 'Loser Megan' or 'Dealer Dani' don't have any harmful, racist, background but the studnon trope does. Which is debatable since Daniela is Hispanic and Hispanics in media has always been depicted as drug dealers, which is a topic for another day.

But my point is that preferring Manon when she is dressed more masculine isn't the problem. My point is that you're feeding into a racist trope and refusing to understand and learn why it's bad. Don't get me wrong, I love futchnon. But it gets to the point when most of your works, especially on twt, consists of her always being this dominant alpha or this 'stud'. You rarely depict her as soft or feminine and now it feels lwk racist.

I'm not calling you racist, I'm saying that you're perpetuating racist tropes. Which are two different things. Because non-racist people can feed onto racist tropes and still not be racist, if you understand what im trying to say lol.

At the end of the day, I'm not trying to stir up drama, I'm trying to educate people on harmful topics, especially racist ones. As a black woman, it gets annoying and exhausting to see misogynoir all over media. And it's more exhausting to get accused of trying to stir up drama when all you want to do is educate others. This isn't hate to my dear friend that I mentioned, but to bring some light on topics that isn't heavily discussed on katsblr since it's so normalized.
