Moving to a Primary Blog
I am making a very (non-)drastic move to a primary blog, so expect some reposts (five of them really - I didn’t really do much to begin with). It all looks the same, but I really wanted to be able to interact with the fandom under my scavenger persona which Tumblr would not allow.
Alas, thus the need to fashion a new blog entirely: https://scavengerfive.tumblr.com/ - rather easy to remember, scavenger5 to scavengerfive. I’m rather simple.

Here’s my first art contribution to the fandom. I am not the best artist, so there you have it.
*waves* Hello @scavenger5! I hope you don’t mind me reblogging your work and also saying hello in general. ^^’ I am so glad you made this and wanted to share you work! I haven’t the faintest idea what you mean by not being the best artist though!! You have a really good sense of anatomy, perspective, background detail, shading and also the little comic bubble for Sam is positioned well and on point! I love a lot about this one but I kind of wanted to let you know right off the bat that while I understand the self-conscious part of posting artwork or posting something you have made - you definitely are good so I hope you know that. :D Some details I love are for starters, seeing a relax smile on your Five’s face! I love seeing that!!! One can only imagine how hellish this world feels for Five - especially with how it all begins for them on their journey to becoming Abel Township’s Runner Five but I really adore seeing a proud Five who is wielding their weapon and looks confident and relaxed in their element. That’s boss! Out of curiosity - you don’t have to answer if it makes you feel uncomfortable by the way - but on the left leg just above Five’s ankle - is that your signature or a tattoo for Five? I like the detail as well as the shoelaces! That’s a neat little insight and so subtle too! :D But goodness - I’m just - I’m probably overwhelming you with all of this but I really dig this and your Five as well! Their smile and personality really do shine here - I love seeing how much you captured Sam’s personality in the comic bubble as well - it’s really cute and I adore it!! :D I swear I won’t keep babbling but some of the other details I like here and want to compliment you on are: - Your Five’s stance. That’s a power stance but also such a relaxed one - showing off how they have things under control and I love that! Getting center of balance, line of action and gravity working with you in art is a challenge but you captured it here rather splendidly in my book! :D (I’m also secretly waiting for them to finish the conversation with Sam then casually knocking that one zomb’s arm to the moon and back for trying to come out to the side to grab them haha!) (( Also just want to say real quick - ‘Just Peachy’ is such a good line and motto. It’s a random thing to compliment on but I like it a lot. Hope that’s cool to say. ^_^’)) 2. I mentioned perspective and background before but the looming presence and silhouettes of approaching zombs really builds up the scene and I keep saying it but really brings everything back to how calm, cool and collected Five is in their mission. Not many are going to be okay with a lone arm trying to grab them - let alone a hoard behind them but your Five is pretty chill here, reassuring a probably anxious Sam Yao that all is good - the supplies are fine too and they’re returning from the mission asap. And there’s just - there’s not a way for me to comment on this without making a lot of assumptions and I don’t want to offend and be assumptive ^^’ but I just get a sense from your artwork here that this is part of your Five’s personality. They have confidence and a cool factor to them (they are a cool Five by the way but I also mean that calm, collected and cool sort of cool as well ^_^)! I should probably stop rambling your head off - I apologize if I have made you uncomfortable here @scavenger5 - I just wanted to reblog and support your work as well as encourage you if I can that you are really good and if you have more to share in the future and want to do so - I know it will be the bee’s knees to see but that’s only if you want to. :D What you have posted and shared is awesome and appreciated so thank you for wanting to! You really have a cool Five on your hands and your style really pops! :D

Also, it's a bandaid on her leg.
I think she's gaining some personality. Running from zombies would do that to you.

I was on the helicopter from Mullins Base to deliver supplies to Abel Township when it was shot down by a rocket launcher. I was the sole survivor, and I crawled out of the wreckage with zombs all around.
A man named Sam Yao, the Abel radio operator, guided me to the township. I owe him my life, but I don’t know if I can trust him or any of them yet. I guess the feeling is mutual if anything is to go by the looks I am getting.
I’ve been designated Runner 5. They have given me some clothes and a place to sleep, and my training starts in two days so I can recover. Their doctor, Maxine Myers, examined me. It was odd to put such a kind face to the stern voice that told me I had to win my place in the township. I’ll have to keep earning it by being their new runner.
I didn’t get to meet Yao. He cut communication with me after the snipers put down the former Runner 5 as I made it through the gates. I believe they were close. I would have liked to thank him, but I’m not one to go out of my way.
I don’t have much more to report, but I can’t help but wonder a few things. Why did we only have half the supplies? Who fired the rocket launcher? And what is Project Greenshoot?
That’s all I have. I’ll keep recording what I can until I can go back to Mullins. This place has its quirks, but I don’t think it’s the right fit for me.

Training was... something. I was trained by Yao and Myers. I found it intense but fulfilling. Things are a bit awkward between Yao and me. He is still mourning the former Runner 5. Landed us in some precarious situations while at it. I guess it's good we don't talk much outside the field. I wouldn't want to cause him anymore grief. I didn't pick the number, but... anyways...
I was sent out today to play decoy with the zombies since the gates malfunctioned. I was accompanied by Runner 8, Sara Smith. Her coughing unsettled me since that was one of the first signs before someone turned grey. Yao shared my suspicion. Well, he did before the comms were shut off.
Smith, or rather 8, concerns me. She is very suspicious of me. I don't think she is a threat yet, but she very well could be one if I can't prove I'm not the one who shot down the helicopter.
Despite that, she's quick and clever, traits I value. She and I led the zombies to a nearby base, New Canton, so that they could deal with them as we made our way back to our base.
Maybe if things were different, she and I could be friends, but it would be better if we just figured out this whole mess. Once we find out who really shot off that rocket launcher, I can be on my way back to Mullins. Things here just aren't the same.
Looks like I have to be wary of threats inside and outside of Abel's gates. I'll make my next report soon. Until then.
