The soldier looked over towards the woman who spoke his head tilted slightly. “Who the hell is Bucky?”

✧ -- “ bucky.. “ the witch looks at the soldier, ready for anything to happen at this point. 

Paxton shifted nervously. “So…I may have lied when I said dad sent me. It’s entirely possible he thinks I’m with a Latin tutor and not breaking you out of prison…”

✧ -- “what  -- wait a second. you shouldn’t be here !! don’t you understand how dangerous it is? there’s a reason your dad tells you not to put your nose in places it doesn’t belong..” she walks towards the glass, keeping her voice low, long arms wrapped around her body. “but since you’re here.. what’s your plan?”

“I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about.” Kate glanced at the dummy she was using as target practice. It may or may not have been dressed up as Noh-Varr. She let loose an arrow, watching it sail into the makeshift person.

       ✧ – the witched crossed both arms together as she stared over at the dummy, slowly her greenish-brown hues target onto the girl’s crossbow and arrows. “who is that thing dressed up as?” she questioned.

“Trust me, drinking by yourself, with every bad thought you’ve ever had for company, is not a road you want to go down.” The redhead insisted as she took a sip of her drink before setting it down on the table. “So if there’s a reason for that,” She nodded towards the girl’s drink with an enquiring quirk of her eyebrow. “You can talk about it. Even if it’s only with me. I’m pretty good at keeping things to myself.”

The brunette let a sigh escape her lips, greenish-brown hues traveling down towards the glass of red wine. The young witch had so many things she’d been thinking about. It was as if her head were spinning round and round but there was no way to stop the thoughts. The memories. The pain of her brother or the thought of accidentally hurting hundreds potentially thousands of innocent people. Greenish-brown hues still set on the glass and two thumbs fiddling together, “I know I cannot save everybody..” Her voice soft and fragile, “but I’d like to think I can...” Hues now looking up at Natasha, “there’s a -- feeling of guilt building up. Slowly.” Clearing her throat she’d take the glass and finish the small amount off.

Tony sighed, knowing she could get inside his head if she wanted to. “Nightmares. I’m sure you’ll be glad to know my actions haunt me in my sleep.” Well when he did sleep anyways. 

The witch let a sigh escape her lips, “With all due respect Tony I think you’ve let your ego get into that little head of yours again. I do not know what happens in your everyday life but I can tell you go through struggles.. Are the nightmares about --” she’d stop herself there, not wanting to cause anymore unwanted damage to his mind.
