The clouds above part a bit, and the moonlight helps you see them clearer. Their bodies are difficult to make out the form of since they're dressed in flowing cloaks. Maybe beneath the fabric is some scaly abomination. Or perhaps something more haunting like a foggy, spectral form.

The only things visible other than their tentacles are their arms, legs, and head, all of which appear human for the most part, but with enough differences to make you nervous.

There's an eerie glow to their skin, almost like some sort of power is shimmering beneath the pale surface. Their fingers are long and their fingers are stained black, the nails of them looking more like viscous claws.

im at the point where ive accepted the reality of it (ive been at that for a while, really), but im sure that when we hit the process of her funeral and such that its going to hit like a brick. especially because two of my siblings are pretty useless so my dad, my oldest brother and i are probably going to be doing a lot of the heavy lifting. ive been put in charge of picking out what she will wear when she gets put to rest which...jesus christ thats a fucking insane thing to have to think about.

anyway. yeah, thats where i am. i will probably post an update at some point, but ill keep it brief. i dont like to post heavy stuff on here a lot, mainly just because this is my space to get away from that. but this blog is so tied to my life and you guys are legitimately so important to me that it feels like a place where i can be a bit vulnerable about all of this.
