Date night for one 😋🍷 #treatyoself

After training in Dubai for over a month this was my first official day in my Emirates uniform (April 3rd 2016). There was something really rewarding about putting that hat on for the first time after working so hard, not only through all my initial assessments and interviews to get in to the company in the first place, but especially after all the exams, practicals, modules, homework, reading, online assessments, stress, lack of sleep and tears 😂🙈 It was also a privilege being able to stand along side all my batch mates having made it through it all together 💪🏻 Even though I’ve been home for almost 2 years now I think about this stage of my life pretty much every single day, and how lucky I was to experience it. It was probably the best and also the hardest phase of my life, but it is 100% what has made me the person I am today and is what continues to drive me forward. I guess the reason I’m posting this is that I need to remind myself that what I accomplished was no small feat, and even though I was only there for a short while I’ll be forever grateful for everything that I learnt. To Dubai, to Emirates, to my batch mates 🌍✈️❤️ #reminiscingdemtrolleydollydays

Adventure time part 2! Next stop: Cebu, Philippines 🇵🇭 I was fortunate enough to have 2 layovers in this beautiful country, and during my second visit I went on a little boat trip to the lovely Nalusuan Island. During my time there, my fellow crew and I were able to play volleyball in the middle of the amazing crystal blue water, even though we were all being eaten alive by whatever was stinging us. Despite this I am lucky enough to say that I had my first ever snorkelling experience at this little piece of paradise 🐠🌸☀️🏝🌏 #travelistheonlythingthatmakesyouricher (at Nalusuan Island)
