Scales and Feathers

Once again work is boring so I'm drawing again. This time I'm jumping to Miraculous Ladybug.

I have a love/hate relationship with Zoe. She was so unnecessary to add, but I also wish she was the one who actually got through to Chloe. I think I would have even accepted her as the new Bee holder if she just actually formed a bond with Chloe.

I added Breezee cause I just love her but I didn't mean to make her eyes so derpy. I guess it goes with that single brain cell that powers her.

I'm not sure how to describe it. My early Zootopia fan arts are rough to look at. I've improved a lot the couple years I've been drawing these characters. I would start with just practice. Draw a character. Then draw the character again but change your approach on how you draw one thing. Then do it again as you see what produces the results you want. My early Zootopia work I drew their cheeks sort of like looney toons character(cause I was already familiar with drawing them from my childhood) and then I branched off from there. I struggle with the snouts too. With Nick, for example, I found shortening his nose just a bit helps me get his face better. If you try to keep the nose long it can easily start to look weird from certain angles or you "lose control" of it. Shortening it just a little goes a long way and isn't to noticeable by those looking at the art. Normally in my process, when drawing a character from the front or slightly angled view I 1st) draw a circle for the head, 2nd) draw a curved line that will be in the general direction they will be facing, then 3rd) draw a smaller circle where the tip of their nose will be. I position the eyes and I then shape the rest of the muzzle and mouth from that nose circle.

I would also suggest not going overboard when drawing the lines that show a change in fur color. Take Judy for example. I typically don't draw outlines for when her Grey fur becomes white fur. Those places are near her eyes and mouth and the outlines can easily start to look like wrinkle lines and can clutter up a face(I've seen this in both official art and fan art of her). Sometimes the lines are necessary for a character(like my character Ruby wouldn't look like herself if I didn't draw her fur patterns but it works with ther because what's near the eyes gets darker and shaded in and the other lines are far from the mouth or areas that can clutter/wrinkle the face). There's really no right or wrong answer for that one. You just have to determine yourself with each individual character on whether those lines will help or hurt the art.

This was 6 pages but I added the last one to make it clear to Nick and the audience that Judy wasn't doing this for just ANYONE. He's a special case ;)

Nick runs out of the room not long after. Poor fox. I'm going to make him die of embarrassment at this rate.

I was also going to have a small gag where you could read the doctors writing as they flipped the paper but then I realized that wouldn't make sense because you were seeing the back of the page not the front. But they had written things like "the bunny is trying to attract the fox", "the bunny has presented herself to the fox to mate. She wants-", and "the bunny is upset. The fox appears aroused." LOL things like that

(As Kit is chilling in their room she's grabbed by Sam)

Kit:Sam what....MMMHM?(The Snow Leopard lands a big kiss on the small Fennec)"

(Thoroughly enjoying the kiss they stop)

Sam:Morning Kit...."

Kit:Morning Sam....You can put me down now"

Sam:Aaawe I like holding you to kiss you(plants one on her cheek) makes you look more adorable"

Kit:Well to me it's kinda.... demeaning...like you're treating me like a baby"

Sam:Oh... I'm sorry Kit I didn't mean to upset you"

Kit:It's okay Sam,just down do it where people can see us"

Sam:I promise... But you gotta admit you are pretty cute like this,and you barely weigh anything "

Kit:Heehee oh hush you(she plants her lips on his as she wraps her arms around him)"

(They continue to kiss as a white flash and a click is heard ......)

Cubby:OMG YOU TWO ARE SO CUTE!!!! Especially when he holds you up in his arms Kit,That's another picture in the Art Gallery"

Sam:Eh well look on the bright side.... At least it was only Cubby "

Kit:(Completely crimson in the face)Please put me down now"

It's here! Chapter 6 of the Ballet AU.

Chloe and Luka's first time "hanging out". No interrogation. Just them doing their own things. Chloe shows a little interest in what Luka is doing and his powers. While Luka sees she's not only serious about what she wants but also there may be something soft hidden past her stinger.

A few things in this chapter is actually set up for the Dovely chapter. I'm probably going to have to redo or revise that chapter once I catch up to it. Also I just learn that the Miraculous Ladybug(yes, I know I did it and "Bye bye little butterfly" in the opposite order, sorry) CAN revive death from an akuma? I really thought that was the one thing it couldn't undo. So, that's my bad. It kinda makes the events of "Dovely" not make since because Luka and Juleka would of just waited for the ML to heal Rose, even if she did die. Luka doesn't really have a motivation to run to Chloe for help. Should I keep it as it is(and just say it's how this canon works) or try and fix it when I get there?

Abigal is a new minor character. We will see a few of Chloe's dance mates throughout this story.

I'm going to take a break for probably a week before I start chapter 7(I'll probably use that time to fix and art or spelling mistakes I find).

You think if they kiss Sam has to bend down or Kit has to get a stool to stand on?

Either way it was a funny scene

So far the episodes with the Gila Monsters and the one with Kit and Sam stuck are my Favorites

Sorry all I bring up is Creature Cases but I'm just glad someone else likes and ships Sam and Kit and it's fun to share our little scenes or scenarios with them

Like recently I thought up a story where Kit is clinging to Sam because she's jealous of a new White Tiger Agent is flirting with Sam and she's jealous but luckily Sam reminds Kit she's the only girl for him

God they're so cute and thank you for liking them

I really like the episode their stuck together too. Especially when kit just gives up trying to walk and lets Sam do it because he's taller XD

A very short comic this week but it's something I've had in mind practically since Zootopia 2 came out.

One of the things they wanted to do in Z2 was flip things on Nick and Judy. Nick knew everything about Zootopia, well now there's a place where he's out of his element(which I call BS. There's no reason that Nick shouldn't familiar with Marsh Market or any district in Zootopia to some degree). Judy had an uncomfortable experience in Z1 with the naturalists club and Nick had one in the reptile speak easy. In Z1, Judy gave the end speech. In Z2, it was Nick.

So, in Z3, I wondered if they're going to continue that trend and what would they flip? Well, in Z1, Judy saved Fru Fru and I think it would be fun if Nick saved Judith. Not only as a call back to what Judy did and how her positive influence has impacted Nick to help others but also Nick can finally be in the Big's good graces again(I'm really confused why they wrote Nick to think he would be the best choice to talk to Mr Big in Z2 when he knows Judy is the reason they weren't MURDERED). And it would keep the "love your dress" line going.

This also keeps the head-canon of Nick being really good with children going! I LOVE it!

I feel like Fru Fru and Mr Big have taught Judith to call Nick that but after this she will call him Mr Nicky or something.

I don't see this crow trying to eat her, just catch her for ransom.

I like the idea that birds will be the antagonists of Z3. Z1 it was prey and Z2 it was predators(again flipping things). In Z2 the newly introduces species class, reptiles, were good guys/harmless. So in Z3 the new species, birds, can be the bad guys/dangerous(with maybe one being the good guy sidekick of the movie). But with how much Zootopia tackles subjects of discrimination that might not be the best decision. Someone will make it about some real world event going on :/

I got the next TWO Sundays off so there shouldn't be anything keeping me from comics for the next two weeks! WildeHopps will be back next time.

I've been trying to think of something like that but haven't really thought of a fun scenario that want to happen at the beach. If I think of something it probably won't be out for a while being I have a lot of comics lined up right now.

Because WildeHopps and Wolfington got the same vibes.

I've seen The Bad Guys 1 and have yet to see 2.
