“Hey, what’s going on in that visor of yours?”

Lunch time, every miner is sitting, groans and sighs are an usual sight. Their bodies are all numb from working 23 shifts a day, finding those energon.

“Hm?” Jazz finally snaps out of the trance, and bores into his grumpy co-worker’s eyes - Prowl.

“There you are. Gosh, sometimes I feel like your spark is having a talk with Primus.” Prowl sighs. “Next time, if you don’t respond, I will eat that lunch for you”

“Oh, right. Heh.” Jazz smirks, as he always does, and glance down at his lunch box.

“Really, what’s going on in that visor of yours?” Prowl furrows.

“...” – Silence, but only briefly.

“Well… can you tell me what’s on my visor?”

“Uh… My reflection?” Prowl shrugs, drinking his energon cube “Exactly. You got me all distracted, friend”

Prowl’s optics widen. His core functions much much faster than usual

“Sh-Shut it. Hurry up, we got another shift to finish.” “Righty-o. After you.” Jazz stands up, with his usual annoying hum and walk with his friend to another day of work.
