White Rabbit arrived at the balcony of Selene's apartment. 

He was just here to observe her, that's all. Just to make sure she doesn't tell anyone about his presence.

It will ruin his plans. 

He opened the door and saw Selene cooking at the stove.

“Come in,Rabbit.” she said suddenly, startling him. 

He was about to ask her how she knew it was him whens he shrugged.

“Your footsteps are too loud.” she said, still not turning to him. He grunted a response and walked to where she was, looking at the food she's cooking with curiosity. 

He sees she is making white rice in one pot and stew in another. There were vegetables and other condiments on a cutting board next to the stove. There was a red cabbage next to it that smelled like vinegar. 

“What is that?” he asked, his nose wrinkled in front of the smell. 

“Its kimchi.” She said, “It's pickled radish. I like to eat it with rice.”

She then smirked. 

“Its probably too spicy for you.”

Rabbit scoffed, taking it like a challenge. He picked up the vegetable and took a big bite.

At first he felt nothing, then the spice hit him. 

He started coughing and coughing, his eyes watering. He turned away from Selene in embarrassment, not wanting the small woman to see him in a state. A cup of water materialized in front of him and he grabbed it, gulping it down. 

He sees Selene smirking face and coughed, composing himself.

“So why are you here?”  she finally asked, crossing her arms. 

“I'm here to make sure that our…situation is kept between us.” he said stiffly. 

“You mean when you popped on my balcony and i maced you and you fell on your ass?”

He was about to retort when she held a hand up.

“Relax, I'm not going to tell anyone.” She said, “Or my roommates. Like, who would even believe us?”

“Oh you will be surprised.” Rabbit thought, thinking of Darcom and other demon hunters. He could just kill her for good measure, but her experience as a nurse could be useful and killing her roommates will take too much time. 

“So, what you want me to make for you next time?” she asked. Her golden eyes stared at him with an expression he couldn't identify. He wanted to retort that there wouldn't be a next time, but he was curious about this woman.

“Tea would be nice.”

AN: Finally back and with a new chapter! White Rabbit is just doing this for his curiosity.

oh ive been Thinking about this and wanted to stew on it for a while because like yeah. none of anything that happens in this sequence is normal. the yaoi goggles are on idgaf

his constant praise/encouragement of dante was 100% not necessary. i understand he Needs dante to trigger because his plan wont work otherwise but he was a little Too into it at the same time. like it had a personal stake to him

genuinely what are these expressions? he almost looks like he's blushing and his mask cant even blush. this is dangerously close to a rabbit ahegeo.

there's also the fact he just knows some personal details about dante, like dante watching vergil and eva die, which im guessing he may have gotten through vergil somehow? (furthering my verrabbit agenda hehe)

dante is wholeheartedly trying to kill him here by the way, and im not sure what white rabbit's plan was if dante had actually managed to get that shot off in his face (yes this IS as suggestive as it sounds)

and then the aftermath of dante's "premature" accident has him walking over and grabbing him by the hair, chastising him that he needs to push him "harder". like ok man. he also had NO way of knowing lady put that bomb in dante's neck. im not sure if he just assumed dante fucked up his trigger like that and that's why his face exploded?
