Stating obvious facts isn’t rude. What’s rude is being late to an appointment for a reason that isn’t a real reason and then making my day harder because of it.

it may not be a real reason to you, because you’re not a pet owner and you don’t understand, but to those who do own pets, you’re dog running away is a valid reason. just because it doesn’t apply to you doesn’t make it invalid.

That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Even parents are smart enough not to leave their children home alone unsupervised. Especially if it isn’t well behaved. It would’ve been just as annoying had a child caused this trouble for me– like take it to daycare earlier?? Any way you slice it it wasn’t my problem.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to overshare when they speak to receptionists. If you’re an hour late, you don’t get to just walk in an that’s the rule– I literally don’t care that you’re late because your dog got out almost got hit by a car, Stephanie. Keep it in a kennel when you leave and be on time. It’s not my problem. 

well, to some people, their dogs are more than just a pet to them and they feel bad about kenneling them, so they don’t, especially if the dog is usually well behaved. maybe don’t try and dictate what people do with their own pets, yeah?

TGIF, Lima! Hope the new year has been kind so far and that you’re able to do some relaxing this weekend! I know that I’ll be cozying up to watch some movies and make more homemade hot chocolate after hitting the dance studio. How about the rest of you? What are your weekend plans?

my weekend plans include seeing my boyfriend and playing with my dogs, because i got two more and they need to be integrated into the household dynamic.

well um, for starters, i actually respect his wishes, unlike a certain ex-fiance of his, so, there's that.

it’s a little too early in our relationship to be considering that, don’t you think? we haven’t even said i love you to each other yet.

With the winter season rolling in soon, the Lima Community Theatre has decided to put on a winter musical. It was a little hard to decide, but ultimately i wanted to choose one that didn’t settle with just one holiday. This upcoming weekend, Lima Community Theatre will be hosting auditions for RENT. If you’re in a musical mood, want to try something new or more, figure out an audition piece and come and audition for the group here at the theatre. We’re looking forward to it. We are also looking for those who want to do set design and costumes so if the stage isn’t your thing, maybe behind the scenes will be more your speed.

i was gonna ask to work behind the scenes, but then i was convinced otherwise and now auditioning. RENT is such a fun musical though, despite the subject matter sometimes.
