BIG ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING THIS BLOG !! So I haven’t been on this blog in too long, and at this point I’m afraid to check on the date of my last post. There’s a few reasons why I haven’t been on this blog, but the short of it is that Lydia has been on the back burner for a while because I just have a lack of activity here. So with that being said, I’ve decided that for the time being, I’m moving Lydia to my multi - @elastixhearts​ - I’ll still keep this blog incase I decide to bring her back fulltime, but for now, I can give her the most & best attention I can give her by moving her to my multi that I spend a fair amount of time on. I hope to see everyone over there! <3

               ❝ Sometimes I do, ❞  she admitted, not caring to correct herself and admit that she felt lonely and sad most of the time. She lived within herself, nobody ever taking the time to pay her any mind. How could she not feel lonely?  ❝ It’s okay if you do, too, you know. ❞

               ❝ He’s the Pumpkin King, right? ❞  Betelgeuse had told her enough stories about Halloweentown that she felt like she knew some of the unique characters so well without having ever met any of them before. She thought he just liked telling her all of these stories because he didn’t actually want to take her there, and knew it would drive her insane wanting to visit such a magical place. To a little girl who loved Halloween and everything spooky, she had only dreamed about coming here as a child. She was a lot older now but that still didn’t tarnish her excitement.  ❝ I guess I’ll wear a necklace of garlic to keep myself safe around you. ❞  Lydia wondered how much of a myth wearing garlic was or if it was just for the sake of stories. She grinned excitedly at him though. Clearly, she had never met a vampire before.  ❝ I’m Lydia, ❞  she introduced herself to him.  ❝ Who are you? ❞

               The sudden BOO did cause Lydia to flinch away from him, but she wasn’t exactly scared either. She’d seen a lot worse, though the change in his eyes were peculiar. Weren’t they just blue a second ago?  ❝ What kind of clown can do that? ❞  She mused, though he probably wouldn’t know what he was referring to by such a vague question.

               ❝ I know. You know, I wish people didn’t depend solely on photographs because that’s hardly where much of the proof is. ❞  Ghosts could be captured in photos but that wasn’t always the case. A lot of times they actually avoided cameras all together so they didn’t end up being caught on any kind of film. The best source of communication was a medium, but not everyone took their word for it. Whatever she might tell them didn’t mean that they were going to believe Lydia, hence wanted something they could see for themselves. That being said, not even the ghosts wanted to be communicate with her right now, for whatever reason that may be.  ❝ Maybe, ❞  she mused, biting on the inside of her lip and thinking what those ways could be.  ❝ I don’t have all of the technology in the world. Not that I really think half the tools they use on those ghost hunting shows actually exist but I’m sure some of them are onto something. ❞
