“Backwards or not I’m glad that it’s happened.” He smiled as he pulle Joe back in for another kiss. “I was too irresistible to wait for.”

Nick chuckled and hugged Joe around the neck. “I love you Joe.”
“I love you too Nicky” he was so wrapped up in Nick that he didn’t notice the waitress who had come up to their table and was waiting to take their order
Nick blushed a little having not even looked at the menu he just picked at random hoping they’d have it. “Uh can I get the uhmm 7 ounce steak medium well…. woth potatoes and gravy?”
Joe ordered and smiled politely at the waitress until she was gone and he turned to Nick frowning a little. “You know you have to be careful with red meat, Nicky” he didn’t mean to scold but he was always worried for his brother
“I just said the first thing that I could think of. I wasn’t reading the menu. I was distracted by kissing you.” He blushed as he looked down. “I’m sorry I forgot about the red meat thing.”
Joe shook his head. "it's okay, one steak won't hurt...we just won't tell Mom okay?"
