STORY ::
Jafar is a genie* who was freed from the shackles of the lamp after he forced Iago to do it. Previously (In the 2nd Movie ) Iago killed him in genie form by kicking his lamp. However Jafar was resurrected by his sister and this remade his lamp. He then forced Iago to wish him free of it after re-capturing him.
{ * This does not mean he’s entirely kill proof. Honestly it’d be really boring if Jafar was completely immortal. But because he sort of is he survives into the modern era. }
Jafar chooses to remain human looking in appearance because he despises being a big red weirdo. He changed his look as far as hair goes. Canon Jafar in my head was balding. Now because of his magic he has a full head of hair. Jafar is very vain and interested in looking handsome ( or his idea of handsome).

Other : He has much of the same powers as his cartoon counterpart except for a few. He can vaporize into a mist and travel short distances to escape ( Short being about 2 or 3 feet away from where he was).
His healing is a bit faster than humans but he can still be hurt and disabled with enough force applied.
Jafar is older than he is in the Films.
