-you and Mabel met when you were both younger, maybe a little after the whole 'stuffing animals into her backpack' incident, you thought it was so cool of Mabel for wanting to free animals, so you started sitting with her during lunchtime
-you both had a passion for animals, but admittedly, you were the more well behaved one, so it was surprisingly how well you two bounced off of each season other, mabel's mother honestly didn't really care, she was just relived her daughter finally had a friend who was actually a human.
-high school was a difficult time, but you still stuck by your friend, you would occasionally help Mabel with rallys to save the environment, and Mabel would volunteer to help at your clubs too! No matter if it was still life painting or gardening, the girl would help with a smile on her face, shes having a good time if you are.
-Mabel is definitely a hugger in my mind, A affectionate one, she likes to put her head on your shoulder or hold hands, A bear hug as a greeting is common, you are best friends afterall, you're used to it, but if you're iffy on physical touch, she'll back off no problem, just expect a lot of high fives
-during the fire, Mabel was worried sick about you, she prayed you managed to get out of the fire without getting hurt, she could feel nothing but guilt and anxiety until she saw you again, and if you gotten hurt or worse.....she wouldn't forgive herself, at least for awhile...
-expect a slightly too protective, clingy Mabel for awhile if you did get hurt
-if you didn't get hurt, she's more than relieved, you both help jerry clean up the burnt up forest and plant new trees there, careful as ever..
-sometimes you'll have picnics, or little hang outs there, George would occasionally show up, hes glad Mabel has a friend like you too, at least you think so, he did type three hearts and a wood log for you
-overall, you are mabels best and first ever friend, she will cherish your moments forever, expect a cute little scrap book on the step of your dorm soon!
