And by 'new' I mean I don't know that much about tumblr etiquette. But a few things that I've learned from careful observation is that people on this outlet are passionate about things for the wrong reasons, with the wrong information, or are completely justified. I mean, I get that there is real oppression going on in america and around the world but to call all males 'rapists' or 'oppressors' is totally wrong and sexist. Calling an entire gender a derogatory term like that based on handfuls of people isn't fair. I will admit that women have gotten the raw end of the deal and I'm all for equality but i feel like this activism isn't even about equality anymore. I feel like its about men being inferior now. Being a straight male is taboo now and what kind of justice is that? To punish an entire group of people because of what the few is completely unjustified. Not all males are in power. In fact, if you ask me, gender and power don't correlate. Not anymore at least. Blindly following a cause based on selectively believing certain information that only builds your hatred is how hitler cane to power. Don't let bandwagon influence you into venting your hatred at an entire group of people. I'm all for equality. I want women to have equal pay because they are just as influential to society as men. We are all influential not because of our gender, sexuality, race, or beliefs. But because of the choices we make as human beings. We are all note in the same song; We just need to harmonize. I was sleeping in my bed, right? It was like 2am and I decide to get out of bed. I went outside and sat on my front porch looking through the railing at our driveway. After a little while, the batmobile pulls into our driveway and parks. I run over to batman as he exits his car and give him a hug.
