𑣲⋆ He learned how to love you based off of how Queenie and Kinger acted

He’s AI so he doesn’t experience normal human emotions. He saw how Queenie and Kinger were together, before Queenie abstracted of course. He took a mental note of how they were together. Then you showed up. He’d do all the things he would see Kinger do for Queenie. He even at times would ask Kinger for advice. Since Kinger is the one with the most experience with dating.

𑣲⋆ Big on consent before he does anything.

He doesn’t want you to resent him like the others do, so before he kisses you, cuddles you, anything. He always asks first. He always wants a verbal yes. If you seem the slightest bit uncomfortable, he’ll stop and ask you to make sure you’re okay. If you say no he stops everything. Asking you what was wrong, he never wants to hurt you. I think the only thing he doesn’t ask is to hold your hand. If you’re walking around the circus he’ll pop up and take your hand, he always wants to be around you.

𑣲⋆He’s obsessive.

He’s a Ai, and even though he learned what love was through Kinger and Queenie. He does have a bit of issues with how he loves. He’s rather obsessive. He always has eyes on you. He wants to know everything about you. He’ll ask a million questions, what you like what you don’t. If you tell him something is bothering you. “Oh, My darling honey bee, don’t worry!” Whatever was messing with you. POOF. It’s gone or fixed.

𑣲⋆He’s jealous.

He hates when you talk to the others too long. He feels like your focus should be solely on him. He may not always say it, admit he’s jealous. But he’s actions sure do prove it. He has a pout on his face, try to pull you away to pay attention to whatever he has going on. Glaring at the other humans. Because how come they get your attention and he’s not.

𑣲⋆He loves to give you pet names

He’s not so much into giving nicknames. But pet names? Oh that’s his thing. “Good morning, My bumbling Bee!” “How’d you like the adventure, My purrfect doll?” “Oh tell me more, Darling!” He gauges your reaction to each. He definitely uses alot of bee related ones. Bumble bee, Honey Bee, Honeybun, Honey. But he always puts My in front of each. He always wants it to be know you are his.

𑣲⋆He definitely favors you.

He definitely favors you. I mean of course he does you’re his partner! But he definitely takes you to his office. He’ll bounce ideas off of you, at times. May not always take them but once in a while you’ll aww them in adventures. You definitely have the best room of everyone. Even if he HATES the suggestion box. He’ll purposely seek out your handwriting, and take ideas from that. Or have you all got on that adventure that you suggested.

𑣲⋆He had Gangle teach him to draw.

One day he made gangle stay back from an adventure. He wanted he to teach him how to draw. I mean he knew how to draw, especially bees. But he wanted to be better at it. So he made her stay back and teach him. So from time to time he’ll either hand you drawings he made, or he’ll slip them under the door. Definitely draws a lot of you and him kissing but keeps those to himself. You’ll get some as you and him as a bees, you two going on dates. Stuff like that. He absolutely will draw anything you mention liking he absolutely draws it. He gets so excited if you request anything, he adores when you do.

The Carbuncle takes in all manner of orphans, but they particularly revere the sick, the wounded, and mutants, their mission almost one of mercy for children otherwise left behind by the horrors of war. I'm not gonna say they have a great survival rate, given that infectious diseases are encouraged and they view those lost to consumption as divine sacrifices, not lost but taken into the loving grasp of their grandfather to spend eternity in his garden
