The Satyr's Soul

i was terrified until i saw that she was just as scared. i was hesitant, until i saw that she was just as cautious. i was doubtful until she held my face and told me she belonged to me. i am sure about tomorrow. i will be hers forever. she is part of me and i cannot live without her anymore. tomorrow it all changes.

who am i then, if not good-- if not evil? who am i to feel so much pain? what do i deserve if anything or nothing at all? i honestly don't know anything anymore. but i love. and that, to me is a gift and a curse. but it is enough to know i am alive.
