There is some emptiness and solitude in hotel rooms that I am obsessed with.

This picture was taken on an incredible road trip into the North East coast of the USA that ended a few weeks ago.

Once more my predilection for hotel rooms, here using Kodak Ektar 100 with my beloved Mamiya 

Today I will be yours forever

I once read a book that relations between couples of different backgrounds were more likely to be lasting. Finding myself on a loving relationship in which both descended from different cultures, encouraged me to start a photographic journey that I named "Today I will be yours forever." We do not know if these couples will stay together forever or not but today in these photos the love between them is real and will be recorded for eternity.

Been spending many hours scanning old negatives, as old as when I used to travel in Europe by train or when I used to live in Czech Republic, back in 2001.

This one was taken with the first medium format camera I owned. An old Flexaret made in Czech Republic.

The picture itself was taken in Vienna at a friends place. It was a mistake as the exposure wasn't calculated right, I know.

But there is something ghostly about it, there is the relaxed pose of my friend at the left. Me at the right waiting for the shutter to shoot. And the super flare from the window like a vision or some extra terrestrial thing about to happen.

Since I reduced my social media life to nearly nothing, I could focus more deeply in the otherworldiness I try to capture with my photographs.

This one is the most recent addition to hand painted photograph series.

Recently I took part in the project "The Swap", a curated project by Stuart Pilkington.

It is a very simple concept. On two separate days two photographers photograph each other and create two portraits. On day one, person one is the photographer and the other is the subject and on day two they swap roles so that the photographer becomes the subject and visa versa.
